I was currently taking the curlers out of my hair listening to up that hill by Kate Bush me and mads were getting dressed .
"Hello" I said as I answered the phone
"Hey I miss you " I hear my sister say.
"Me too , so much but I have a major test tomorrow so I couldn't even fly home if I wanted too."
" I hate that"
" Me too , how was your day"?
" It was good just hung out with Wendy ,
Regina & mads how was your day? "
"Boring butttt Lyle sent me a spooky bouquet of flowers"
"That's so cute"
" I know"
"I miss you" I say again .
"I miss you too S.j "
"This is our first Halloween apart" I say .
"I know"
I stay silent trying to hold back tears but my sister knew me too well .
"Don't cry Sutton I'll be home soon besides it's Matteos first Halloween with our family have fun "
"Your right , me , mads & Erik are gunna take him trick or treating with Regina & Jace "
"I know he looks so cute in his Batman
costume"
"He does, what are you doing for the night?" I ask
" nothing much Murray invited me and cher to a get together we'll probably stop by for a minute and come home"
" same we'll probably go to Adams party"
" yeah you should since I can't" I laugh.
We talk for awhile until we finally hang up.
We go downstairs where My mom is getting Matteo ready , we're not wearing our costumes until later , my mom took pictures of Matteo before we left , we went next door to get Erik by then Regina & Jace were here.
We walk up to a few houses with the boys until Matteo got sleepy , Jace wasn't so we went to a few more houses while Erik carried Matteo eventually we parted ways and me and Erik took Matteo home .
Erik and I sat on the couch with a sleeping Matteo while we sorted through his candy .
" he really enjoyed himself" I say .
"Yes he did I think he fell asleep when we were still outside"
"Thankyou for carrying him"
"No problem you know I love Matteo too"
"I can't believe I'm a big sister now I was
scared he wouldn't like me"
"Look at him he's sound asleep and when he wakes up he's gunna be looking for you he adores you "
"I adore him too"

" like you & Lyle"?
"Yeah"
We sat in silence for a minute until my my came to talk to us she made dinner and Halloween cookies we ate and I got dressed for Adams party .
