I had been home from the hospital for a few weeks , I wasn't cleared to go back to school yet so I'd been at home   my friends and Erik were stopping by to bring me my school work.

This gave me time to write my music.

Erik met a girl named Tracy and I think he likes her .

I didn't understand Erik at all but I couldn't resent him.

I decided to move on with my life and focus on other things .

I still checked on him but it would take awhile for us to be as close as we were.

no matter what happened he was always there for me like I was there for him so I knew he loved me.

Maybe we just weren't meant to be .

I looked out the window to see mads I ran down the stairs to let her in .

"Hey "

"Hey"

" how was school?"

I ask as we hug.

"Boring without you"

" senior year and I can't even go to school"

I sigh

"Only for another week Zach's having a Halloween party the 29th are you gunna go ?"

"Of course "

We went downstairs to get some ice cream .

" Awwh is this stuff for the baby?"

Mads asked looking at the boxed crib and swing in the living room

"Yeah it must've came this morning"

" I can't believe your sister & lyle are married and having a baby "

"Yeah me neither "

" I didn't expect that outta them"

" why ?"

" I don't know lyle seems like a rich player & Dionnes like the super hot girl next door I thought they'd bang a few times and loose

My mouth dropped as she laughed.

"Oh my gosh ! As crazy as it sounds me too but they beat the odds they're both really in love with eachother I'm happy for them "

"Im happy for them too I wanna get married  and have kids one day "

"Yeah me too but I don't see that happening"

"Don't say that SJ it'll happen one breakup doesn't ruin love "

"I know I just didn't think we'd ever be over"

" Erik loves you I just think he'd afraid of loving you too much so he's pushing you away"

"I know that but I'm not gunna chase him if he wants to run from me I'm gunna let him maybe if he sees me Move on he'll understand how it feels "

" I agree you should date other people and see what's out there "

I twisted my spoon around in my bowl of ice cream as I thought about what she said maybe she's right.
