Starks
The lookout reported that a dragon had been seen in the skies approaching Winterfell which stirred up a flurry of activity at the Keep.
“Well," began Lord Rickon, standing up from his desk, “I guess it's time for me to wrangle together my grandchildren to greet our Royal guests while you, my boy, finish getting ready for your wedding.”
Seeing his son’s downtrodden gaze, Rickon walked over and placed his hands on his son’s shoulders.
“Today will be very trying for you, I know, and, while I don’t want you to think I don’t care, I would ask you to try to remember that your young bride may be a terrified young maiden who does not fully know what to expect today. She will look to you to guide her and for protection as you are the one man whom no one will be able to deny is able to be close to her. I am proud of you Cregan and I love you. You are at the start of a whole new beginning so, try to make the best of things, alright?”
Cregan looked at his father and then replied. “Yes Father, I will."
He then stood and Lord Rickon pulled his son into a tight embrace.
“I will see you soon enough at the Heart Tree along with our guests."
The two men then parted. The elder to collect his grandchildren and take them out to the outer courtyard where they would greet the Royal Family and the younger to finish readying himself to be wed and to check on the chamber where he would first bed his princess.
Targaryens
After nearly a full moon on the road, at long last Winterfell was in sight and everyone was ready for their long days of travel to be over despite knowing in only a few days they would be back on the road, going the other direction.
King Viserys sat next to his young daughter in one wheelhouse as his wife and her father sat in another. He could not hardly believe it but today was his darling daughter’s wedding day. It would not be long before he handed her off to a man he’d never met but had to hope would treat her well and make her very happy.
As for the Princess herself, she kept looking out the windows as Winterfell, her new home, came into view. She was nervous. She was about to be married to a complete stranger. How would she even know if the man her father was giving her to was in fact Lord Cregan Stark? Would he find her appealing? Would he be kind and gentle or a brute like her stepmother told her he would be? Regardless, there was no going back and she would have all of her answers soon enough.
Hightowers
The journey had been exhausting but was finally, almost at its zenith. They would arrive at Winterfell in less than an hour. After a brief respite to take some refreshment and to clean up, they would join a host of Northerners and Valemen in Winterfell’s Godswood where the King’s Great Misfortune would be married off to a beast.
Alicent hoped the girl would shriek out in agony when her beast penetrated her virgin cunt that first time and then would spend the rest of the time he was in her absolutely bawling and squealing out in pain. That way she would enter her wedding feast with red eyes and looking like an utter disaster. Yes, that would be the greatest gift her oh so cherished stepdaughter could give her other than just dropping dead.
As for Otto, he was in a triumphant mood. His daughter was four moons pregnant and the Princess was about to become the problem of House Stark. Now if the Starks could just continue doing what they always did and not be a bother to anyone south of the Neck, then the Princess could just fade away, lost to time and history. Otto truly did not care if the girl lived or died, he just wanted her to be abandoned and forgotten in the North. Out of everyone’s sights and minds.
