Viserys

Even as his young mistress, Lady Lila Lannister lobored with the bastard child he and her twin elder brothers, Jason and Tyland, all openly spoke of and admitted was his own child, Viserys pondered what to do about his failure of a wife. In the months since they had learned of his perfect daughter Rhaenyra’s miracle birth, she had grown persistently more irritating. First, she had told him that he had to demand that Cregan and Rhaenyra make the ardous journey to the capital with their newborns so that they could present them before the court. She argued that since only people from the North had seen the babies, how could anyone truly know they existed? When Viserys refused to do this, having full faith in the integrity of Lord Rickon, Alicent had been furious.

Next, she had demanded that he should order that all four babies get sent to the capital as fosters once they turned two. Again, Viserys refused his wife, refusing to make his precious only child be parted from her heirs anytime before they would naturally.

The third, and his own opinion, worst, thing Alicent had tried to demand was that his precious little gem be bred again as soon as possible.  When Alicent tried this, he was livid. The Gods themselves had blessed his baby with four healty babies all in one go. Surely that was a sign that she could have a bit of a break from the childbed? Alicent then proceeded to insist that it was due to Rhaenyra having been blessed that he had to order Cregan to seed Rhaenyra again quickly so that the pair could be blessed with even more blessings. However, this is where Viserys put his foot down. Yes, his daughter had been very, very blessed by the Gods and yes, Viserys did hope that in a few years time his daughter would be blessed with even more children but he also could acknowledge her extreme youth and the risks frequent pregnancies could pose to her. Besides, it wasn’t as if his daughter was lacking heirs. Hells, she even had her very own son in addition to her three girls, unlike Alicent. So he decided to make things conditional. He would encourage his son by law and daughter to procreate again just as soon as Alicent was able to provide him with an equal number of healthy, living human babies born from her own womb. At this, she burst into tears, blaming him for her inability to do what he requested since he was her beast’s sire, a beast she barely cared for and was only still alive due to Viserys summoning Septa Rhaella to the Keep to ensure Alicent didn’t smother the girl in her sleep.

The one thing Viserys did know is that Alicent had finally recovered as much as she was going to and so it was time for him to arrange her dual Walks of Atonement. He just could not wait for his little lion cub to arrive so that he could write to his beloved child that she was finally an elder sister to a proper baby.

Later that day, it seemed as though the Gods had heard what he secretly called his bastard as Lila delivered a child that looked more like a scaled golden lion cub than an actual baby. While the birth did not damage her nearly as much as Dracara’s birth had damaged Alicent, it did leave her deeply traumatized.

When Jason and Tyland were allowed to meet their newborn neice, they both refused to allow the dragon-lion cub to be given a bastard surename as he, their King, had been the one to deflower their 13 year old sister and had sired the creature on her. This is why, when he presented his newest “child” before the court a couple of days later, she was presented with the name Lady Kefira Targaryen- Waters- Hill, the result of a lengthy compromise which also included a large dowry for Lady Lila, her own lands and Keep in the Westerlands and a large manor house outside of King’s Landing where their child would grow up.

Court

When Lady Dracara was born, many believed that it was merely Queen Alicent that was cursed. However, when Lady Lila Lannister delivered a child that had been well known to be their King’s (as he frequently boasted of having deflowered her and how much he enjoyed plowing her at feasts and events, boasting she was better in bed than any of his other mistresses), people were not so sure that the King himself was not cursed. A moon later when Lady Rose Redwyne delivered a child that resembled Dracara but red in color and with a far more draconian like face, they were 100% convinced. This third beastly child had been named Lady Cerise Waterflower and she was immediately rejected by her mother and her mother’s family. The King then gave Lady Cerise to Queen Alicent and insisted she raise the girls as sisters even while Lady Rose, in her great shame, decided to join the Silent Sisters so that hopefully one day she could recieve penetance for the sin of adultery.
