"Come on, Inez. We're going to the morgue."

Agnes told Inez who looked at her and then back at where the boy was but he was gone again.

"What did you see?"

Agnes asked her daughter as she walked slightly confused towards her mother.

"Nothing. It was nothing."

Inez said as she shook the image of the boy from her mind as they made their way back out to the car.

💚🖤

"There was a body. I saw a body."

Agnes mumbled to herself as they got ready to get out of the car.

"We saw a body."

Inez corrected her mother as she swung the car door open pulling herself out of the car, rather dramatically.

"We're not crazy."

Inez said more trying to reassure herself then tell her mother that they weren't crazy. The O'Connell pair making their way into the morgue, as they kept muttering things. Inez and her mother stopped once they got in, confused as no one was sitting at the reception desk like there normally was even this late at night. After a moment the pair looked at each other before making their way to the brown double doors that hid the autopsy area. The pair looked around confused as when they entered there were no bodies to be seen, they were certain they had seen a body before.

"She was in her late twenties, green eyes, five seven."

Agnes started describing the woman they had seen with her eyes closed, when she opened there was a body there. This was very different from Inez, there was still no body on that table as she looked around for some sign that there was a woman's body there.

"What are you doing, mum?"

Inez asked as her mother made her way over to the table she now saw a body on, her mum looking back at her confused.

"You don't see her?"

Agnes asked as she pointed to a table that appeared empty to Inez, who shook her head at her mother's question.

"She has hair the colour of... scarlet."

Agnes said to her daughter who still wasn't seeing a body and it was starting to trip her out. Especially when her mother looked like she was holding something and seeing something while she just saw nothing.

"Case closed then?"

The pair heard the voice of agent Vidal speak up, the pair turning their heads to see the woman standing there.

"How did she die?"

"Where is she?"

Agnes and Inez asked at the same time, she very much wanted to know where this body her mother was supposedly seeing was.

"Wrong question Agatha. But you are on the right track, Valentina."

The woman said, the pair kind of looking at her confused as to why she had just called them those names when their names were Agnes and Inez, right?

"That witch is gone. And all the copies of the darkhold with her. Leaving you two trapped in her distorted spell. But you don't have to stay there, do you?"

The woman said, she wasn't making a whole lot of sense to the pair, who felt like they were overheating suddenly.

"What are you talking about you crazy bitch? And why the fuck is it so hot in here."
