008| A baby shower?

"Are you being serious right now, Vally?"

Sofia asked Valentina, a few eyebrows getting raised but no one said anything.

"Oh, right. I forgot you two are bad with names. That's Sharon."

Sofia said as she remembered the Harkness's were never good with names, constantly getting her brother's names wrong.

"Thank you dear. On another note, I am a member of the Westview historical society. All I would've expected to see down here were remnants of our failed public transit system."

Mrs hart said pushing her way to the front, after thanking Sofia for getting her name correct.

"Helpful interjection, random woman with no obvious magical qualities."

Jen insulted the woman, Valentina going to whisper something to her mother but her mother said something.

"Hey, she has a name! It's Mrs Hart."

"Sharon."

Sharon had to correct Agatha like they didn't just establish that the woman's name was Sharon.

"Well, whoever she is, she has no business on the road."

Jen told them, Valentina looking at her mother with an I told you so look on her face.

"That's what I've been saying."

Mrs hart tried to say but teen started to talk over the top of her.

"Anyone can be a witch with training."

Teen said over the top of Mrs hart as a result Valentina only got bits of what each of them were saying it was extremely confusing.

"Which puts the rest of us in even more danger and we don't even know what we're up against."

Jen complained, Valentina knew she was going to do this turning to her mother to whisper something.

"Why did we bring her again?"

Valentina asked her mother, who shook her head chuckling slightly, talking about Jennifer who seemed to already be freaking out.

""Tame your fears," that's what we're up against. Our worst nightmares."

Lilia answered Jen's question, Valentina really didn't want to have to face her worst nightmare, because that was loosing her brother again.

"But I'm what form?"

Jen asked, Valentina rolling her eyes, Jen obviously hadn't been listening to the ballad when she sung it.

"Trials."

Alice answered, everyone's attention flicking to her, the ghost of her mother still very much ignoring Valentina.

"At least that's what the song says. What are they like?"

Alice turned to ask Agatha and Valentina the question, them looking at each other before Agatha answered.

"The road will test us and our knowledge of the craft. One trial for each skill."

Agatha told them, looking between each of the group members, Agatha assumed that her and Valentina would most likely get the same trial considering then pretty much had the same skill set.

"How do we pass them without any power?"

Jen asked forgetting that only she and the Harkness's didn't have their powers, Mrs hart just didn't have any period.

"Well, there's always analog magic."

Teen spoke up the attention switching to him, Valentina wasn't opposed to the analog magic idea but she knew the others would be.
