The aftermath of that evening lingered like a chilling fog, permeating every inch of Jeonghan's being. Seungcheol's ruthless punishment of the old man had been seared into his memory. It had served as a dark, visceral reminder of the depths of Seungcheol's obsession, a binding force that ensnared Jeonghan tighter each day.

As the morning sun cast an eerie light across his room, Jeonghan lay in bed, feeling the full weight of his imprisonment. Every word Seungcheol had whispered in the library echoed in his mind, cutting through any lingering hope he had held onto. There was no escape; Seungcheol had made that abundantly clear. The man didn't just want to possess him, he wanted to break him, to mold Jeonghan into an extension of himself, his perfect and unquestioning lover.

When the door creaked open, Jeonghan's heart leapt, but he stayed still, his face betraying nothing. Seungcheol stepped inside, his gaze intense and unrelenting. He moved closer, a glimmer of satisfaction in his eyes as he studied Jeonghan's unmoving form. Sitting beside him, Seungcheol brushed a hand over Jeonghan's hair, letting his fingers linger in a slow, possessive caress.

"Good morning, love," Seungcheol murmured, his voice rich with a dark gentleness. "You look so peaceful, lying here as if you were made just for me."

Jeonghan remained silent, his body tense beneath Seungcheol's touch. But when Seungcheol leaned down, pressing his lips to Jeonghan's forehead, he couldn't suppress the shiver that ran through him. Every small gesture was a reminder of his power, a display of ownership that left no room for resistance.

"You know," Seungcheol continued, his tone deceptively soft as he pulled back to meet Jeonghan's gaze. "I can't stand it when people try to pull you away from me. The very thought drives me mad." His fingers traced over Jeonghan's cheek, trailing down his jawline in a touch both tender and terrifying.

Unable to hold back any longer, Jeonghan's voice came out as a faint whisper. "Please, Seungcheol... just let me go."

Seungcheol's eyes darkened, his expression hardening at the words. In an instant, his fingers closed around Jeonghan's chin, pulling him close, forcing him to look into those piercing, unforgiving eyes. "Let you go?" he repeated, a cruel smile playing at his lips. "You still don't understand, do you? You belong to me, Jeonghan. Mind, body, soul. There's no escape from that."

Tears prickled at the corners of Jeonghan's eyes, but he refused to let them fall. "You're suffocating me," he whispered, his voice broken. "I can't live like this..."

Seungcheol's smile faded, his grip tightening as his expression shifted, something possessive and terrifying simmering beneath his calm façade. "No," he replied, voice low, almost a growl. "I know you feel it too. This connection, this bond between us. You may fight it, deny it, but deep down, you crave it." His lips brushed against Jeonghan's ear, his voice a soft, menacing whisper. "Your body doesn't lie to me."

Jeonghan closed his eyes, feeling the helplessness consume him. No matter how much he fought, no matter how many times he told himself he didn't want this, his resolve was wearing thin. The weight of Seungcheol's obsession, his relentless pursuit, was breaking him piece by piece.

Seungcheol shifted, his fingers ghosting over the marks he'd left on Jeonghan's skin, a testament to his dominance, a reminder that Jeonghan was irrevocably his. "You'll see, love," he murmured, his tone soothing yet terrifying. "Soon, you'll stop fighting. You'll accept your place beside me."

Jeonghan's breaths came in shallow, uneven gasps, the final remnants of resistance slipping through his grasp. He knew there was no escape. No one was coming to save him, no hope waiting beyond the mansion walls. He was ensnared, bound to a man whose love was as dark and twisted as his soul.

A single tear slipped down Jeonghan's cheek, and with it, he felt the last piece of himself crumble. He gave up, surrendering to the reality that he was no longer his own.
