From that day onward, Seungcheol kept his promise. Jeonghan was never alone; Seungcheol's presence was like a shadow that loomed over every part of his life. When Seungcheol wasn't there, guards filled the empty spaces, a constant reminder of his control. The darkness and helplessness Jeonghan felt were unbearable, and as days passed, he regretted every move he had made. His defiance had only tightened the chains that bound him to Seungcheol's world, where even the smallest hint of freedom felt impossible.

But gradually, he adjusted. With each passing day, he became resigned to the routine. It was a slow surrender to Seungcheol's power, and though a small part of him still ached for the life he'd lost, he knew there was no turning back.

The wedding day arrived faster than he'd anticipated. Jeonghan found himself dressed in elegant attire, the reflection in the mirror a stranger. His friends, Joshua and Seokmin, the only family he had left weren't by his side. The thought of walking into a future without their support made his heart ache. He had always imagined his wedding day filled with love, warmth, and true happiness. Instead, he was to be bound to a man who offered none of these things.

The door opened, and Seungcheol entered. Jeonghan glanced at him reluctantly, his heart heavy with conflicted feelings. Dressed in a perfectly tailored suit that framed his powerful build, Seungcheol looked almost like a god, exuding a dark allure that was hard to ignore. Yet, beneath that polished exterior, Jeonghan knew lurked a devil, a ruthless and possessive force he couldn't escape.

"You look perfect, my love," Seungcheol murmured, his tone laced with satisfaction as he took Jeonghan's hand and brushed a gentle kiss across his knuckles.

Jeonghan hesitated, swallowing back the dread that rose in his throat. "I... I'm nervous."

He expected Seungcheol to snap, but instead, a rare, soft smile spread across his face. "It's okay, love," he said, his voice strangely tender. "I'm here with you." His lips pressed gently to Jeonghan's forehead, sending a confusing wave of comfort through him. Despite himself, Jeonghan felt an odd sense of reassurance.

"Alright," Jeonghan whispered, feeling a strange calm settle over him.

Seungcheol nodded and led him to the hall. The venue was decorated to perfection, every detail meticulously arranged, and Seungcheol's guards stood watchful, ensuring the day went without interference. But then Jeonghan's gaze found two familiar faces among the crowd. Joshua and Seokmin stood at the far end of the room, their eyes fixed on him, filled with equal parts relief and guilt.

Jeonghan's heart swelled with gratitude, and he turned to Seungcheol, who caught his glance. "Today is important to us both," Seungcheol said in a low, steady voice. "And I know how much they mean to you. It's the only reason they're here."

A deep, unspoken gratitude stirred within Jeonghan, and he managed a slight nod in response. Together, they stepped onto the stage, and the ceremony began. Each vow that passed his lips felt hollow, each promise a bitter pill to swallow, yet he held his head high. As the ceremony neared its end, the sound of helicopters filled the air, followed by the loud, unmistakable crack of gunshots. The hall erupted into chaos, guests screaming as Seungcheol's guards formed a defensive line around him and Jeonghan.

The police had come for Seungcheol, and the entire venue was surrounded. Seokmin and Joshua struggled against the guards who tried to lead them to safety. "Jeonghan is still in there!" Joshua yelled, fighting against their grip. But the guards held them back, assuring them that Jeonghan was under Seungcheol's protection and that he would be kept safe.

Meanwhile, Seungcheol's guards swept Jeonghan out of the hall. His heart pounded with fear, but to his own surprise, his thoughts turned to Seungcheol. What if something happens to him? he thought, the worry taking him off guard.

As if sensing his concern, Seungcheol caught his gaze in the chaos, his eyes softening just slightly as he gave Jeonghan an assuring nod. "Be safe," Jeonghan whispered before he was led away.

The moment Jeonghan was out of sight, Seungcheol's expression darkened. The gentle façade he had worn shattered as a deadly, chilling rage settled in his eyes. This was his wedding, his day with Jeonghan, and these officers dared to intrude, to disrupt his carefully orchestrated happiness. He looked at his men, his voice dropping to a lethal whisper. "Make them pay."

The officers moved in, weapons drawn, unaware of the peril they had placed themselves in. They had entered Seungcheol's territory, his domain, where every inch was fortified, every escape route calculated. He thrived in chaos, his strategies honed for scenarios just like this.

With a calm born of terrifying confidence, Seungcheol stepped forward, meeting the police head-on. His guards moved with practiced precision, their loyalty unwavering as they engaged the officers. The air thickened with the scent of gunpowder and smoke as bullets ricocheted, the deafening roar of gunfire filling the hall.

As officers fell, Seungcheol advanced, each step deliberate and unyielding, his fury like a storm contained behind steely eyes. Today had been meant for love, for binding Jeonghan to him forever. Instead, they had dared to intervene, dared to bring fear to the man he claimed as his own. The thought of Jeonghan, terrified and vulnerable, only served to ignite his fury further.

With ruthless precision, Seungcheol moved through the chaos, taking down any officer who dared to cross his path. He showed no mercy, his actions swift and brutal, his gaze never wavering. His men closed ranks around him, a wall of loyalty and violence that shielded him as he carved a path through the intruders.

Outside, Jeonghan watched from the safety of a hidden room, his heart pounding as he caught glimpses of the carnage unfolding within the hall. He wanted to look away, but something in him wouldn't allow it. The fear that had once consumed him was replaced by a confusing mixture of emotions, dread, guilt, and something unnamable that tugged at his heart. Be safe, Seungcheol, he thought, the words barely forming in his mind, yet undeniable in their intensity.

Back in the hall, Seungcheol finally reached the last of the officers, his eyes gleaming with the satisfaction of a predator closing in on his prey. As the gunfire ceased, a deadly silence settled over the room. The remaining officers, trembling, backed away, their faces pale as they stared into the eyes of the man who had just dismantled their forces with a chilling ease.

Seungcheol's voice was low, filled with a menace that sent a shiver down their spines. "You thought you could take from me? You thought you could come here, ruin what was mine, and escape?" He shook his head slowly, his gaze cold and unwavering. "This is my world. And you will suffer for daring to challenge me."

He let them go, knowing they would return with tales of terror, a warning to anyone else who dared to cross him. As he turned from the hall, his face softened, the violent rage replaced by a quiet intensity. Jeonghan awaited him, hidden and safe, unaware of the lengths Seungcheol had gone to in order to protect him. And Seungcheol would do it again, he would tear the world apart to keep Jeonghan by his side, to ensure no one else would ever touch him.

As he approached the room where Jeonghan was kept, he took a steadying breath, his fury fading into the possessive calm that always seemed to settle around him when he thought of Jeonghan. He opened the door, stepping inside to find Jeonghan's eyes wide, his face a mixture of fear and confusion.

Without a word, Seungcheol closed the distance between them, his arms wrapping around Jeonghan in a firm, possessive embrace. "You're safe now," he murmured, his voice a low, calming rumble. He pressed a soft kiss to Jeonghan's hair, his grip unyielding as he held him close. "No one will ever come between us again."

Jeonghan trembled in his hold, the weight of Seungcheol's words sinking in. He was trapped, bound to a man whose love was as dangerous as it was unbreakable. And as Seungcheol's fingers tightened around his, a chilling realization settled over him, there would be no escape, no freedom, only the darkness of Seungcheol's unwavering obsession.
