One Sister

Lucas watched as Athena went about her daily routine. He had followed her to the school Jessie attended.

'Jessie, after that dyke woman. That sinner, soul stealer. Why must she be so stupid father. I know you're in heaven watching. But know, I will fix it. She will know her place.'

Chase sat watching Athena. She had just walked into the building of her office.

'Shes dead. Then when she's gone, I'll have Jesse. All of her.'

Chase sat watching as a man came to Athena's car. She watched as he broke the window and searched her car.

'Who the fuck is he? Someone in my way.'

She started her car heading out to find Jesse.

Jesse sat with Nicole. Maria was with her parents. She and Nicole spending the night with Nicole's parents.

As they went on joking and laughing, Jesse's mind wonder to Athena. She had called saying her car was broken into but nothing was taken. She called the police and Jesse knew she'd look into it tomorrow.

"Jesse, sweetie, what's up?" Nicole's mom asked.

"Nothing. Distracted by a case." She answered quickly.

They continued their night until Nicole left. Jesse had her own thing to attend to.

Athena lied in bed. Her day was good, until someone broke into her car. Sure nothing was taken but she had things with her address on it in there. She wanted to call Jesse and have her here. She'd feel safe. But, Jesse had a life. She could just force her.

She looked over at the bedside clock. 1:23 am. 'She's sleep. Where you should be.'

She couldn't find sleep. She hadn't known the time that passed before there was a knock at her door.

Athena grabbed her phone,pulling up Jesse's number. "Who is it?" She asked.

Jesse had pulled into the parking garage of Athena's apartment. It was 2:00 am. She hadn't been able to get her mind off the woman. After stopping at her house for a shower and clothes. Then, Wal-Mart for snacks, she made her way to Athena.

Jesse had one bag in her hands and knocked on the door.

"Who is it?" Came Athena's timid voice.

"Officer Stevens."

Athena unlocked the door, opening to reveal a smiling Jesse.

"Jesse, wh-what's...why are you here?"

"Well, if I know you as well as I think, you've been up worried. I thought I'd come by and keep you and LJ safe."

Athena smiled. "You didn't have to."

"I know I wanted to. I'm trying to make you fall in love with me." Jesse smirked.

"Well, I'm not sure it's working."

"Come in."

Jesse walked passed placing a kiss to Athena's cheek. "I have some snacks. If you want."

"Sure."

Jesse and Athena had sat in the living room watching tv. Well Jesse watched. Athena laid in her arms, watching the woman. She wanted her.

"Can we go to bed?" Athena asked.

Jesse nodded. Moving to stand and help Athena. They walked to the bedroom.

"Can you hold me again?"

"Are you sure that's safe? Little man was sure you killed me."

Athena looked down at the floor. "I want to be close to you. To feel you like that again. Warm against me."

Jesse walked to her, wrapping her up in her arms. "Of course."

They got into bed. Jesse on her back with Athena's comforting weight on top. The warmth of their bodies battling the cool air. There was peace. There was love. ____________
Chase was losing it. Jesse had failed to come back to her house. She knew she should have followed her. Maybe she was with Nicole.

She had to think of anything but the idea of Jesse with Athena. She could kill that woman. She would kill that woman. It was fact.

She had her plan and she was prepared for it all. She figured the boy had family that would take him. She didn't care much for him. He was cute but Jesse was hers. Completely.

'Jesse you are my love. That bitch better watch out. I'm here.'

Lucas watched as his sister was held by Jesse. He could feel his skin burning. Just watching them made his eyes burns.

'It will end, father. It will be our family. She will learn.'

He attuned on the recording and moved to lie back in the seat of his car. Come morning he would show his face.

Athena could hear Jesse had fallen asleep. She heard her son come into her room.

"Mommy? Mommy, wake up." He whispered.

"Yes baby."

"Can I lay down with you and Jesse?"

Athena moved off of Jesse. "Come on, sweetie."

Athena smiled as she watched her son and her lover sleep. It was what she wanted. Her family was complete.
