Chapter 21

Present Time

(We've read the flashback so far, so if you don't remember which episode you read the present, let me tell you, it's episode 7. If you forgot, read it one more time before reading this. From now on many mysteries will be solved and love will blossom between Taekook)

(After dinner, Jungkook was sitting on the bed with his son Jungtae on his lap. He's still thinking about what Taehyung said in the garden)

Kook: (mumble) He said we are being watched by someone, but why? What is the reasion behind this? From now on he is going to stay in a room with us, how can I trust him?

(He was snapped out of his thoughts when Jungtae stirred in his arms. He put him on his chest and started rocking him back and forth. As soon as JungTae fell asleep, he gently placed him in the crib next to the bed. After that he went to the bathroom to freshen up. When he came out of the bathroom, he noticed Taehyung lying on the couch. He didn't say anything, he just walked over to bed and lay down there. None of them said anything, and after a few minutes Jungkook decided to break the silence)

Kook: Who do you think is watching us?

Tae: (sigh) I do not know. But we have to be careful, that's why I said that.

Kook: From tomorrow I am going to join my father's company

Tae: I have no right to stop you or you are not going to listen to me. But I have arranged two bodyguards for you, so they will follow you everywhere you go

Kook: You should have informed me before arranging the bodyguard.

Tae: Good night Mr.Angry bird. (mumble) I don't know how Victor put up with you

Kook: (mumble) Are he and Victor really twins?

Next day morning

(Jungtae was looking here and there as his father was walking here and there)

Kook: Bun, don't turn your head too fast. Papa is getting ready for office and that's why I am walking here and there

(He said softly but does a three month old understand what his father is saying? So Jungtae kept turning his head. Jungkook sighed heavily and took him in his arms)

Kook: (peck his nose) Come, let's fill your little tummy with milk. Hmmm

(As he touched the doorknob, someone opened the door from the outside and he stumbled a little, but before he could land on the ground, the person caught him securely by his waist. Jungkook pulled himself away from the man when he saw his face)

??: I'm sorry, Jungkook. Where is Taehyung? Uncle said he is going to take over as CEO tomorrow. So I want to talk to him

Kook: (sigh) He is getting ready in his old room, Rogan hyung.

Rogan: I thought you two were in the same room since yesterday

Kook: And I think it's our personal matter. Excuse me.....

(Rogan moved a little away and Jungkook closed the bedroom door before walking downstairs, but he could feel Rogan still watching him. He hugged Jungtae tighter and walked faster. When Jungkook came downstairs, he saw Taehyung coming downstairs too, talking on a call to someone. Rogan followed him. After seeing Taehyung, Jungtae stretched his arms forward towards Taehyung to lift him from his father. Taehyung picked him up and kissed him on the cheeks)

Tae: (on call) Yes, prepare the files and be ready to meet the Board of Directors with me. I will be there in 30 minutes and then we will meet them. Today they all come in person
