Noon.

At noon, the vast open area of the manor buzzed with activity as the maids and butlers diligently set up the most robust defensive spells imaginable. This wasn't just any ordinary space—it was designed to fit multiple towering structures, each standing as tall as a castle. The grounds were enormous, accommodating several large towers that shimmered with protective magic, ready to withstand even the most ferocious attacks.

Sindri and Nillal worked alongside the maids, reinforcing the barriers with their magic, ensuring that every inch was fortified. Eberhard and Meld moved through the area like seasoned commanders, inspecting the setup meticulously, leaving no stone unturned.

One of the maids approached Eberhard, her chest puffed with pride. "It's done, Master Eberhard."

Eberhard looked skeptical but intrigued. "Are you sure this can hold?"

The maid straightened, beaming with confidence. "Yes, Master! Before I became your maid, I was the best in my institute of Defense Magic! Not even a giant kaiju monster could make a dent in this!"

Sindri chimed in, "The maid is right! Nillal and I reinforced it fifty times! Not one dent can make this barrier falter!"

Nillal nodded vigorously. "Exactly! Even if it were to take a hit, the barrier has a rapid regeneration capability. It's completely safe! Besides," she added, a mischievous grin spreading across her face, "I know my sister's destructive ability all too well. Her last fight with a monster left a crater as big as a large town!"

Eberhard looked impressed. "Well, you're all equally hardworking." He paused for dramatic effect. "As a reward, everyone shall have a feast! And I'll give you advanced pay for the maids and butlers who helped!"

Cheers erupted from the maids and butlers, who loved Eberhard for his kindness and generosity. He was considered the nicest lord in all the land, and today was no exception.

Amid the celebrations, Meld suddenly grabbed Eberhard's arm, her eyes sparkling with hunger. "I'm famished, my dear husband! Can I—"

Before she could finish, Eberhard, having already anticipated her favorite food, cut her off with a cheeky grin. "You mean Minotaur legs and a side of kelpie hinds?"

Meld's tail swooshed in delight, and she leaned forward, kissing his cheek. "You know me so well!"

But it didn't end there. Sindri, unable to resist the moment, jumped in, "Hey! I want a kiss, too! That's my husband as well!"

Suddenly, the dining area erupted into a flurry of playful chaos as both women began showering Eberhard with kisses, each vying for his attention.

Nillal and the maids watched with exasperation and amusement, shaking their heads. "What a family this is," Nillal said with a wry smile.

"Agreed," echoed the maids and butlers, stifling laughter as they returned to their tasks. Eberhard, surrounded by affectionate chaos, couldn't help but grin, his heart full amidst the delightful bickering.

At the open space outside of the Helden Manor...

After everyone had eaten, including the two fighters, Hibiki and Memta, the air was excited as the duel began. The audience, a lively mix of various races from the nearby village, gathered around the large open area of the manor. Among them were a beast man with a lion-like mane, a graceful fairy fluttering above the crowd, and a few curious humans, each murmuring with anticipation.

"Do you think Memta will lose?" one villager asked, his voice tinged with doubt.

"Are you crazy?" replied the beast-man, shaking his head vehemently. "She's the daughter of Meld, the ex-demon king's general! She's probably equal to her mother or even stronger!"
