Hello girls and gays.

Yoko could barely believe what was happening. She'd only just drifted off to sleep, that rare, peaceful feeling wrapping around her when Faye's voice broke through, gently but firmly.
"Doctor... wake up, please."
Yoko tried to ignore her, burying her head deeper into the pillow. "Mhmm..." she mumbled, her voice thick with sleep. She was so comfortable, and sleep had been coming so easily lately—something she had rarely experienced in the past few years. Maybe it was the calming presence of the estate, or maybe it was just Faye's unyielding protection, but sleep had been kinder to her lately, and she wasn't ready to let it go.
She turned to face away from Faye, hoping she'd take the hint. But then she felt the light touch of Faye's hand on her shoulder, a gentle but insistent caress that she couldn't quite ignore.
"Faye, I want to sleep. Please..." she murmured, still half-asleep, trying to brush her hand away.
But the caresses continued, soft, almost comforting. She could feel Faye's determination through each touch, and after a few moments, she gave in, cracking one eye open and sitting up with a begrudging glare. "Why now..." she muttered, her voice edged with frustration.
Faye's expression was serious, and Yoko couldn't help but notice the flicker of urgency in her eyes. "Doctor, I have an emergency appointment in Milan. Let's go, wake up and get ready," she said, her voice low but commanding. "I'll get your things together."
Yoko was about to protest, but something in Faye's tone made her stop, the urgency pressing down any argument she might have had. She nodded reluctantly, rubbing her eyes before getting up to get dressed.
Minutes later, Faye led her to the car, the weight of the early morning still heavy on Yoko's mind. She yawned, barely keeping her eyes open, feeling a touch of frustration rising again. Faye glanced over, and Yoko caught the brief flash of apology in her eyes as she reached out to smooth down Yoko's hair.
"I'm sorry for waking you up like this," Faye murmured, her hand moving in comforting strokes. "You can sleep on the flight, okay?"
Yoko rolled her eyes, though she couldn't entirely hide the slight smile tugging at her lips. "You say that as if you're going to let me actually rest."

As Yoko settled into the plush, spacious seat in the business class cabin, she couldn't help but let out a contented sigh. The comfort was beyond anything she'd ever experienced, and she suddenly understood why people indulged in these luxuries. The softness of the seat, the calm ambiance, everything about it was designed for complete relaxation. For the first time in days, she felt her eyes growing heavy with sleep almost immediately.
But then, glancing over, she noticed Faye across the aisle, looking uncharacteristically tense. Her usually composed, confident expression was overshadowed by a flicker of nervousness, her jaw set, and her gaze unwavering as she scanned their surroundings. It was a stark contrast to the calmness that surrounded her, and Yoko couldn't help but feel a pang of curiosity.
Yoko quickly turned her head and tucked herself deeper into her seat, hoping to settle down unnoticed, but Faye's sharp gaze caught her movement. Within seconds, Faye was by her side, her presence casting a warm shadow over Yoko.
"You're okay?" Faye asked, her voice soft yet commanding. "You want anything to eat?"
Yoko shook her head, still slightly dazed from sleep and unsure of what to say. "I just... I just wanna sleep," she mumbled, glancing at her lap. Despite the luxurious surroundings, Faye's tension was contagious, and she didn't want to ask too much or disturb her.
