House of Franklin, Milan
It was now midnight in the House of Franklin.
Jordan headed to the room Frankie assigned her and changed into her pyjamas - A unicorn onesie. Then she pulled out her glasses, plugged it into her phone with a USB cord, and began reading the transcripts for her previous conversations. She read dialogues between the modelling auditions to the after party of the fashion show, but no matter how hard she tried, she couldn't find anything on Kingston. And the transcript for the afterparty was messed up as well, because the music clashed with the recordings. Jordan had a feeling that Kingston could be a potential lead but the fact that she couldn't get anything from him left her feeling cornered. Jordan didn't like that. So the next course of action was to investigate the mansion. That's why she was here after all.
The hallway lights had dimmed to reflect the nature of the day and the employees had either gone home or retreated into their habitats. Jordan headed to the golden elevator and saw the buttons once again: G, D, L, B, R, A-
And the SOS signal.
The others had engaged in mediocre conversations at dinner, but Jordan was distant for a reason - She was plotting. Using assumption-based reasoning, Jordan figured that out of all the floors, The Design Floor would be the jackpot - And how so? Because Frankie didn't seem like a super genius, but he didn't seem stupid either. Jordan guessed he wouldn't hide anything about himself on the Business Floor just because of how obvious it would be. Instead, Frankie was the type to hide his deepest and darkest secrets in his art. That way, if someone was successful in revealing the truth, at least that person would have good taste.
Ding!
The elevator stopped at the floor and nobody was in sight. She thought some tryhard designers would be there that night, but it seemed that she was lucky. For now. The Design Floor stood out not for its wooden walls with ripples along, not for the greenery that was well established in the house's essence. It stood out because of its carpet: A velvet green material that doubled as an optical illusion. If one was to stand in the Design Floor they would feel like they were in Venice rather than Milan. They would feel like the green waves were crashing under their feet and moving in unison with them. Jordan absorbed all of this, feeling a headache incoming. The concept was cool, she wasn't too prideful to admit that-
But why would he put this here of all places?
Striding through the web of hallways, she went past sewing, fabric and sketching rooms -all empty, devoid of life- but nothing stood out to her. It came to a point where she had hit a wall. She decided to go into a random room.
Stretching out in front of her was a vast library but in place of books were tubes upon tubes of fabric. They laid on one another like scrolls, like each one had a story to tell. And in some ways, they did. Whilst some tubes contained elaborate patterns others simply had glossy colours. She scanned the room for prompts and she was greeted with more information:
Material: Silk
Similar patterns: It looks like this material could have been used for Look 1/33 of the Franklin Women's Spring Summer Collection 2023. Showing images...
Her glasses loaded the pictures and she did recognise the material - It was used for Nicole's dress which was inspired by the lotus flower.
Material: Chiffon

Now she saw images of her wearing the dress inspired by the black bat flower. It was weird for Jordan to think that she was kinda famous.
Whilst some fabrics were rough and textured others were smooth and silky. Jordan strolled through the room, looking for a hint to Frankie's personal life, yet, none jumped out at her. All that did jump out at her were particular fabrics, especially one with a circular pattern. It was like she had seen it before, but couldn't put a finger on it - Like Kingston Abebe, she didn't know why this particular thing stuck out in her mind. But alas, she was at a dead end.
