Kingswood
"You want me to what?" Laenor asked.
"I want you to jump off this cliff with me." Aemon said.
"Did you lose your senses when you came into the world?" Laenor asked his older brother.
"Why are you afraid? The water will catch us." Aemon pointed out.
"Or kill us." Laenor spat.
"Can I jump?" Laena asked.
"Perhaps when you're older." Aemon smiled at his sister.
"Or perhaps never. He's not going to jump, and neither am I." Laenor said.
"Well, if you don't jump, you'll have to listen to father's stories." Aemon said.
"That's not so bad -" Laenor was interrupted by Aemon.
"While he's drunk." Aemon smirked.
"Fuck." Laenor cursed.
"Time is of the essence, brother." Aemon smirked.
Laenor looked down and saw how high it was from the water.
"I can't." Laenor said.
"Then enjoy father's stories. I hear he wants to rant about mother being passed over in the line of succession as well." Aemon ran to the edge of the cliff and jumped.
"Aemon!" Laenor yelled, but it was too late. Aemon Velaryon dove in and perfectly landed into the water making a splash. "Come Laena." Laenor and Laena ran down the hill and found floating Aemon with his face in the water. "No." Laenor ran into the water and turned his brother around to see that his eyes were closed. "Wake up!" Please wake up.
"Laenor..." Aemon slowly opened his eyes.
"Yes, brother I'm here." Laenor said.
"Come closer. I have to tell you something." Aemon begged. Laenor leaned closer. "Enjoy father's stories." Aemon started laughing.
Laenor pushed his brother in the water. You scared me! Even Laena was laughing.
"Be calm, brother. Have fun for once." Aemon said.
Laenor looked at his elder brother. He had a secret to share with him, but he didn't know how Aemon would react. Laenor Velaryon loved his family, and while he didn't care what his parents would say, he cared about his siblings' opinions.
Laenor started laughing. "Thank you. You're right. I need to have some more fun."
Aemon and Laenor got out of the water and rode back to the castle on horseback.
Godswood
"Did you read it?" Alicent asked as the two girls were sitting by the weirwood tree, Alicent was holding a book while Rhaenyra laid on her lap. Rhaenyra had already told her friend about her feelings for Aemon.
"Of course I read it." Rhaenyra answered.
Alicent sighed and decided to test her. "When Princess Nymeria arrived in Dorne, who did she take to husband?" She asked.
"A man." Rhaenyra simply answered.
"What was his name?" Alicent rolled her eyes
"Lord something." Rhaenyra was playing around at this point.
"If you answer with lord something, Septa Marlow will be furious." Alicent reminded her.
"She's funny when she's furious." Rhaenyra sighed.
