[AUTHORS NOTE: Caution, this fanfic is NOT serious...meaning some GOOFY themes and unrealistic/uncanon tropes.]

[AUTHORS NOTE PART 2: I apologize for such a long break in between episodes! Episodes will be much more frequent now that I'm out of school! Enjoy chapter 14 ;)]

Max:
I gripped my steering wheel as I sat in my car. Pete had just given me rather peculiar intel.. Mickey Mouse? Doesn't he work for the fucking mafia? Why would Mr. Mouse have it out for PJ? So many questions.. that I would just have to find the answers to. I checked the clock, it's numbers somehow racing towards midnight. *Shit. Brad.* I shifted my old car into drive, and sped off down the road. I drove in silence this time, the air thick with mystery and fury.

?:
Watching him speed off was almost humorous. He has no ducking clue what he's in for. Bless his feathers.

Max:
I pulled up to my work, only one window being lit. The very top floor. I opened the front door, expecting to hear the most annoying noise-Pierre's thick French accent. Fortunately, she wasn't there. I walked over to the elevator, the office slightly darker than usual. The rickety elevator slowly climbed the shaft.

It felt like it was taking a millennia. I twiddled my thumbs, almost holding my breath.

The light in the elevator twitched and sparked. I begged the lightbulb not to go out.

Panic began setting in. *Almost there. Only three more floors.*

The elevator stopped. The bell dinged, and the doors slowly opened. A slight light indicated I had stopped at floor 29.  Black fog seeped into the already dark elevator. I stepped out of the elevator, grabbing my phone and turning its flashlight on. The stairwell was across the office, meaning I had to cross through the daycare. Toys were scattered across the floor, little shoes and little chairs placed randomly around the floor. The only light came from my phone, and a small toy telephone across the way. The floor was dead silent, sweat began building up on my neck. I began sprinting when I heard a toy come to life. The stairwell finally came into view, and I threw the door open. My light shone on the far wall, where written in blood, said "GIVE IT UP MAX." And my jaw done hit the floor.
