Third POV

Was he serious about the attacking part...??  Y/n sweatdropped. She continued to walk until she saw Tobio who has been waiting for her by the school gates.

"Oh! Tobioooo!" She cooed, the thought of Nishinoya completely dissipated now.

"Hmm." He just nodded, seemingly ignoring her, but walked with her following behind anyway.

That made Y/n stop in her tracks though.

"What's wrong?"

"Nothing..."

"You're being awfully quiet today, Kageyama." That made him frown.

"That's Tobio to you..." He looked away, slightly pouting now.

"Pft- wait, are you... jealous?" Y/n snickered, eyes glinting at her best friend.

"WHAT NO? I mean, ehem. Why would I be jealous? Of Nishinoya-senpai? No way. Just keep walking will you." He blushed, walking fast to hide his face.

"Tobio, I never said anything about noya-san? <3"

"..."

"BAHHAHAHA HOW CUTE! I can't with this boy oml" she squealed, shaking Kageyama a bit.

"Staphh.." Kageyama mumbled, although enjoying the girl's pampering.

ater that afternoon, Y/n was accompanying Kageyama with his practice, occasionally spiking for him when he's not serving every now and then. It was perfect, because the girls volleyball club won't have practice till next week, anyway.

"You know, Tobio... It's like you change personalities when you play." Y/n smiled, admiring him.

"Huh? What do you mean..? I'm the same off court and on court-" He got cut off when he gazed back at her.

"...stop looking at me with those eyes"

"What eyes?" She smiled innocently.

"Whatever..." He continued his serves, trying to not get distracted by this unknown feeling that keeps messing him up.

"Oh, it's going to hit!"

"Um."

"HINATA YOU MORON! THAT WAS GOING TO HIT!!"

"are you y/n? HOLY COW YOU LOOK PRETTIER IN PERSON??? YOU'RE YOUNGER THAN ME BUT I FEEL SO INFERIOR SHWOSHISHD" Yuu gushed, talking so fast-- the first years could barely understand him.

"Is he 'the guardian of Karasuno '?" Kageyama and Hinata whispered.

That day ended with Hinata and Yuu getting ice cream, leaving Y/n and Tobio alone once again for a walk back home.
