A young girl, a teenager from our days sits up and groans. She gasps, noticing the time.

"IT'S 7:02 ALREADY!?" She groans. Contemplating whether she should just skip her first day in her first year of high school.

She slowly closes her eyes, then shot right up when her door opened.

"Y/n! Your school starts at 7:30! Why are you still in your bed!?" A woman wearing formal attire-- her mother, scolds.

"Ahaha... Sorry mom I'll get ready in ten minutes, I promise! I don't plan on being late on my first day- That would leave a bad impression, now wouldn't it?" She sheepishly smiles, getting up to shower as if she wasn't planning to skip school a few seconds earlier.

"You better be on time. Your dad and I are leaving for work, breakfast is on the table. Also, your sister has already been picked up by the bus. Love you! See you later." Her mom waves and leaves, adjusting her blazer.

Y/n's POV

Well, I somehow managed to get ready and leave in 15 minutes. Thank God I took a bath last night so I only had to use conditioner. I yawn, breeze-walking towards Karasuno High.

I'm already in high school, huh? Time sure flies fast. It feels just like yesterday when I was still eleven, playing with a certain someone and running around... I wonder if he attends Karasuno now. I hope so, it would be nice to catch up with an old friend. Especially childhood ones...

I check the time, 7:23. Looks like I'm on time. Maybe even a bit early. I arrive at my school, familiarizing myself with the scenery. Glancing by the gym, My eyes widened when I saw what seemed to be a tall raven haired figure, who looked just like my old friend. I touched the little keychain Tobio gave me before parting, and decided to check it out.

That is... Until someone bumped into me and spilled my belongings from my bag.

"Uwah!! I'm so sorry!" A ginger stumbles, apologizing while scrambling to pick my stuff up.

"Wait- it's okay, I'll pick it up. Are you hurt?" I smiled at him.

"No I'm really sorry, I was hurrying because I'm kinda late now so..." He mutters, giving me my notebook. I return my school supplies to my bag and focus my attention on him- oh I'm a little taller than him. Fabulous, I haven't met a guy my age I'm taller than in a long time, I mentally cheered.

"What's your name?" He asked. "Y/n L/n. Nice to meet you, uhh??" I replied, asking his name too.

"Hinata Shoyo!" He grinned. What a sunshine.

"Ah, well Hinata-kun, wanna walk to our classes together? Actually- scurry cause we're almost late." I sweat dropped, checking the time again. 7:27 am.

"Oh, right! I completely forgot! You can just call me Hinata by the way. Let's gooo!" He half-yelled, running towards the hall.
