Chapter 14

I tumbled across the ground hitting it hard. I could hear Calvin scream and then start crying hysterically. My eyes got blurry and then I passed out.

I woke up in the hospital with bright lights shining on me. "What... What happened?" "Thank goodness you're awake! I thought I lost you!" Calvin says through red eyes. He must have been crying all night. "What time is it?" I ask. "Eight pm... It's Monday." "What?!? I thought it was Sunday!" I say confused. "You slept in a whole day. You didn't wake up once..." He squinted his eyes and took a big gulp. "I thought you were... Dead." He says starting to cry again. 'He really does care about me' I say to myself. I sat up and gave him a hug.

Then I kissed him in the embrace. It was magical. Everything bad that happened was gone. All my thoughts were lost. I felt the world stop just for a second. Then I looked up in his eyes.

"I love you." I say to him looking right into his eyes. "I love you too, I never stopped." He gave me a hug. "Go back to sleep now." He says while patting my back.

I turn around to the other side where he couldn't see me, I look out the window and my eyes filled with tears. 'I'm really opening myself to get hurt again. I don't want to love him. But I do, I can't stop it. I can't stop the memories... I can't stop the pictures.
