Chapter 6

I returned home right after the kiss. I ran into my room and shut the door. My whole mind was going crazy. 'Did I really just kiss Calvin Betty?' I slid down my door and stared at my room. A smile came across my face, a real smile. The kind of smile you do when you see kids playing with a puppy. I got up and ran to my bed doing a belly flop. I tumbled all around my bed until I finally reached my laptop. Turned the music up really loud and started dancing. "What the fuck are you doing?" My brother Derek walked into my room and asked. "None of your business bitch." I say as I turn up the music up. "Beverly Hills! That's where I want to be!" I belt out singing along. Derek slowly closed the door shaking his head at me. That night I went to bed feeling amazing.

The next day at lunch Calvin grabbed my hand and held it tight. "I'm never letting you go." He whispered into my ear. "I'm not complaining." I say smiling at him about to give him a kiss when Zach and Elle walked in. "So.. Um.. Are you guys dating now?" Elle said with a quirky smile on her face. "Yes." Calvin said before I could even get a word out. Zach gave me one of those goofy smiles, like the one your friends do when your taking to your crush.

I got home after school and got a text message as soon as I walked in. The name 'Calvin' was across my screen. I started to get jittery. I started smiling and giggling. I quickly slid it open. 'You looked beautiful today.' My mind went blank... How could anyone call me 'beautiful'? 'Thank you.' I say and fall onto my bed. Why am I so confused over this?
