Theerapanyakul's Private Halloween party was an annual spectacle, a grand, unpredictable, and bizarre event.

Khun's peculiar decorations were all around them-glittering skeletons, oversized pumpkin lights, and an assortment of truly bizarre, almost whimsical choices.

But, of course, no one could say anything critical. When Khun decorated, no one dared to object.

While Working for the Theerapanyakuls wasn't for the faint of heart. One day, you could find yourself sharing drinks with them, laughing over something trivial, and the next, they'd be ready to draw their guns at the smallest hint of betrayal.

The day was a trial of endurance-keeping a straight face while their bosses strutted around in costumes that ranged from strange to downright absurd.

But this year? This year took the cake.

Kimhan Theerapanyakul, infamous for his ice-cold demeanor, was painted entirely in green, sporting a foam belly and a costume that transformed him into the towering ogre, Shrek.

He looked absolutely miserable.

His younger, very cheerful boyfriend, Porchay dressed in a shimmering, slightly ill-fitting Princess Fiona gown, complete with a tiara, standing beside him like the world's most patient-and sparkly-Date.

Unfazed by the attention and thrilled to be at his boyfriend's side.

As they entered the compound, the hallways went silent. Guards and staff lowered their gazes, stifling smiles and laughter as they passed by.

Today was a day of high-stakes diplomacy-a wrong look, a smirk in the wrong direction, and you could be kissing your job goodbye.

Kim looked murderous as he noticed every sideways glance and swallowed chuckle, his green-painted face crinkling in barely concealed rage.

"Why am I doing this again?" Kim muttered through gritted teeth.

Porchay flashed him a wide smile, barely holding in his own laughter. "Because you refused to go shopping with me, as you do every year, so I had to pick the costumes alone. And besides," he poked Kim's fake belly, "you look... adorable. I already told you that!"

Kim growled, crossing his arms as they reached the elevator. "Adorable is not in my job description."

The doors opened to reveal Khun Theerapanyakul himself, in a feathery white dove costume that looked both majestic and ridiculous.

His eyes sparkled as he took in Porchay's attire. "My precious princess!" he exclaimed, swooping forward and wrapping Porchay in a tight hug. "You look absolutely stunning, darling."

Porchay giggled, patting Khun on the back. "Thanks, Khun no. You look very... feathered?"

Khun grinned. "That's the spirit!" Then he turned to Kim, and his jaw dropped. For a solid five seconds, he just stared, eyes widening.

And then, the laughter erupted.

"Oh...my...god," Khun wheezed, clutching his stomach as he doubled over. "This... this is priceless! My stoic brother as Shrek!"

Kim's death glare could have frozen hell over. "Laugh it up, Khun," he hissed. "I don't find this funny."

"Funny?" Khun gasped, barely managing to speak through his laughter. "This is beyond funny! This is legendary!"

Then, with a smirk that stretched from ear to ear, and teased, "And Also, my dear Shrek-you're exactly what Porchay wakes up to every day."

Porchay nudged Khun's shoulder with a pout. "Be nice to my boyfriend, Khun no!"
