The sound of hurried footsteps echoed through the halls, accompanied by muffled voices as the doctor arrived.

Behind him came Porsche, his clothes disheveled, his face pale with worry.

Kinn followed closely, his usual composed demeanor cracked by the anxious lines etched across his face.

Khun barely glanced at them. His body tensed as he cradled Porchay closer, his instincts flaring.

He bared his teeth in a low, warning growl
as Porsche instinctively stepped forward.

"Stay back," Khun snarled, his voice trembling with rage and despair. His inner Omega, usually so docile, rose to the surface with a ferocity that left everyone stunned.

“Chay…” Porsche’s voice cracked, his breath hitched, and his legs nearly buckled beneath him.

"You don’t get to touch him now. You lost that right when you left him alone."

Porsche froze in place, his heart shattering at the sight of his unconscious brother. His Omega instincts screamed at him to go to Porchay, to hold him, to ensure he was still breathing. But Khun's warning growl was sharp, unwavering.

"Porsche," Kinn said softly, his hand on his mate’s shoulder, trying to anchor him. But Porsche shook him off, his eyes welling with tears.

"Khun..." Porsche whimpered, his voice cracking. "He's my brother. Please, let me—"

Khun's glare turned icy. "Your brother? Your brother? And yet you couldn’t even check on him? You were too busy playing house with your Alpha while he was drowning!"

“K-Khun…” Porsche whimpered, his voice barely above a whisper. “Please. He’s my brother. I need to—”

“Need to what?” Tankhun snapped, his eyes blazing. “Fix this? Now that it’s too late? Where were you when he locked himself away? When he stopped eating? When he cried himself into this?” His Omega pheromones surged, bitter and sharp, suffocating the room with his pain.

The accusation hit Porsche like a slap, and his sour pheromones spiked in the air, filling the room with the bitter scent of guilt and anguish.

"Stop," Kinn commanded, his tone firm as he let out a loud, authoritative growl, forcing his presence into the room.

His Alpha instincts demanded submission, even from Khun, who visibly flinched but didn’t back down.

Tankhun snarled back, “You think growling louder makes you right, Kinn? You let this happen too! All of you did! Porchay was suffering!”

"You don’t understand!" Khun snapped, his voice breaking. "None of you do. While you were always out on businesses for your empire, with your love story, he was here. Alone. Forgotten. Like me. Like once I was, Kinn and you know that!"

"Khun, enough That doesn't give you right to accuse my mate for anything," Kinn growled, stepping forward. His posture was imposing, his Alpha pheromones heavy and commanding, filling the space as he tried to assert control. "Let Porsche see his brother. He needs him too."

Khun’s Omega instincts surged, and he growled defiantly, tightening his grip on Porchay. "You think your title holds any weight here? He doesn’t need you! Your Mate was his brother first! I never expected anything when I was left to fend for myself. I understood the stakes of this Mafia life.—

But him? He didn’t choose this world. It was never his fault to be born into it—now or ever! And you guys? You abandoned him to suffer, and now you want to swoop in like heroes? Spare me the theatrics?!—
