I've studied a little bit about Haruka's world to see if I could find a way for her to get back there,

so far no luck, however, I have figured somethings out. The world seems to be very different over where Haruka lives, the reason why she had almost burned my kitchen down was because everything that needs to be cooked is for some reason has to be like 100 degrees, so for an example: if you had to bake or cook something at 400 degrees then in her world it would be 500 degrees. It seems that everything is like, supersized over where Haruka is from.

I looked at the time and it was around 03:43 AM, I should go to sleep soon. I put a bookmark in the book and headed over to my bed where Haruka was sleeping, she opened her eyes for a split second and then moved over so I could lay down. I got onto the bed and started to shut my eyes, when I heard the muffled noise of somebody sniffling.

"...I'm sorry, Minori..." I heard a sad voice whisper under their breath, I opened my eyes and saw Haruka still with her eyes shut with tears rolling down the side of her face. "Hey," I shook her and she was a little startled, "are you okay? Did something happen?" she turned over to me and sniffled a little bit, "Oh, uhm.. Yeah I'm okay, just, thinking about one of my friends." she smiled though having puffy eyes, "It's okay, would you like to talk about it?" I put my hand on her hand while she wiped her tears, "Yeah, I think that'd be nice." she smiled at me like she did once before, this time I finally smiled back at her. "I had this friend, her name was Minori. I've talked about her before but I've never told you how good of a friend she was. She was one of my best friends in the whole world, she would lift me up when I was feeling down, she was always there for me." Haruka had more tears coming down her face and I wiped her eyes, she mouth was open for a little bit in shock, but then she smiled and hugged me. I hugged her back and I tried to keep from crying again.

"Haruka's...still pretty even if she's crying.." Haruka looked up at me and her face was red even more, "What did you just say?" She asked while just looking flustered at me, "D-did I say that out loud haha.." I tried to hide my embarrassment as hard as I could I could feel how hot my face was even though I didn't even touch it, "Oh- heh I uhm what I meant to say was uh.." I tried to explain but I couldn't think of anything, Haruka tried to reach her hand over to me and I just felt my heart beat faster.

"Uhm.. p-please just forget I said anything, I'm not in the right mind right now..." I tried to hide my face from her, she pulled her hand away and nodded her head. When laid back down on the bed and I thought I would've never gone to sleep, but soon I woke up to hear birds chirping and the sun peaking through my window, it was right in my face so I tried to turn around but then I saw Haruka staring straight at me. Our noses touched and I felt like I was going to explode. "I'm glad you're awake, I wanna talk to you about something important." She got out of bed and I followed after her, she sat me down at the table in my kitchen. She dropped the book that could give me an answer to get her back. "Have you found anything yet? I just, I just need to know Minori's okay. This isn't about ... last night or anything." she said while moving the book over to me.

"Well, I haven't learned much but I have learned somethings. Your world is really strange compared to this one, first there isn't magic and second you guys do everything like 100 more times than we do here." I said while opening the book to read a little bit, "I'm sorry about this. The whole different world and being stuck here, it's probably scary." I put my head down a bit, Haruka put her hand on my shoulder, "It's not, when I'm with you I feel... weird. I can't explain it. Whenever your near me I feel at ease, even when I first arrived here I felt I knew you before." She looked as puzzled as I was, but also I was focused on her hand mainly. She took it off and put her hand on her chin trying to think, "If it makes you feel better, I had that exact feeling when I first saw you. I felt as if I needed to help you when you said you were teleported here. It's just... everything feels weird ever since you showed up... Not in a bad way though." I started to say but then went off track, Haruka chuckled a little but I was glad she didn't think it was weird I felt the same way. I hugged her instead of her hugging me, she gasped a little, "Have I... met you somewhere before, Haruka?"

I thank the miracle that led me to You. (Haruka/Kanade)Where stories live. Discover now
