Grillby returned from the store and found the two sleeping skeletons on the couch, tangled up in the blanket. Although Sans was directly on top of Papyrus, the smaller skeleton seemed to be comfortably sleeping anyway.
Grillby had expected Sans to be asleep but seeing Papyrus also asleep was surprising. Smiling at the scene he got to work around the house and put up a sign saying the restaurant would be closed tomorrow.

A few hours later Papyrus woke up and quickly realized that he was still trapped under Sans. Deciding that Sans has been sleeping long enough, he started getting out from under his brother. However, they both ended up on the floor because of the blanket wrapped around both of them and Papyrus was once again under Sans.
Sans had started waking up from Papyrus' movements but was still barely awake when Papyrus brought both of them down to the floor. "huh!? what-" he exclaimed as they hit the floor.
"OWIE!" Papyrus complained loudly at the same time. "WHY MUST THIS HAPPEN TO MEE!"
Papyrus shoved Sans off who then landed on the floor with an "oomph". After that, Papyrus quickly got untangled from the blanket and stood up with his hands on his hips in accomplishment.
"NYEH! I AM NOW FREE!" he announced proudly.
Sans slowly sat up and stared at Papyrus in a confused daze. "huh???"
"YOU FELL ON ME AGAIN! WHY ARE YOU ALWAYS THE ONE ON TOP?!"
"uhh i donno."
"WELL ANYWAY! I'M GOING TO FIND GRILLBY." Papyrus then stormed off to search the house.
Sans blankly watched Papyrus until the couch blocked his line of sight. He didn't want to question whatever just happened and instead untangled the blanket that was still around him. As he did that Papyrus came back into the living room only to disappear again into the restaurant. Leaving the blanket on the floor, Sans stood up and slowly made his way towards the restaurant to follow his brother. He was still unsteady on his feet but it wasn't as much of a challenge as last time.
When Sans reached the now open restaurant door he quickly spotted both Papyrus and Grillby next to the front window and headed over. Walking the two rooms and navigating through the restaurant's tables and chairs was tiring. Once he was next to the others he sat down on the floor and listened to their conversation.
"YEAH!" Papyrus exclaimed. "BUT HOW DO YOU REACH THE TOP?"
"We could use the chairs but right now I'm just cleaning what I can reach without one," Grillby answered. "Besides, I wouldn't want you falling off of one and most monsters are usually not looking through the very top of the windows anyway."
"OH OK! WHAT WINDOW ARE WE DOING NEXT?"
"I was thinking of doing the windows next to the fireplace. We can both do a side."
Papyrus vibrated with excitement. "SO I GET TO DO A WINDOW ALL ON MY OWN!?"
"Yes." Grillby sprayed some glass cleaner on the window before passing the cleaner and a roll of paper towels to Papyrus. "Here, you can get started. I just need to do a bit more here before I can join you."
"OK!" Papyrus grabbed the items and ran towards the living room.
"wait! pap-" Sans struggled to get his feet under him as Papyrus ran straight at him.
"WAAAHHH!"
Grillby had no time to react as Papyrus got startled at Sans' voice and tripped over his own feet, causing him to fall straight towards his brother. However, Sans unnaturally slipped out from under him just before they collided with each other, thrusting out his hands so he didn't face-plant onto the floor.
