~Chapter 11~

He walked back into the living room with a beer and started beating me for no reason. W-w-what'd I do? He kicked me across my face and said," Finishing what I started earlier." He turned around and walked into another room and grabbed something. I couldn't see what it was. Next thing I know, Dad puts his foot on my back, pulls my wings up, and that's when I feel it.

Coppers Pov

I let out a blood curdling scream from the pain. I looked by me and saw my wings laying in a pool of red liquid. My back felt like it was on fire, and dad just kicked me and walked upstairs to their room. Everything started to get blurry, and I ended up puking from the pain. I tried to fight it, but I couldn't anymore, and everything went black.

The next day, Shoto's Pov

I get to school, and I notice Coppers not here. Did she sleep in again? I tried calling her, but she didn't answer. Aizawa looked at her seat and raised an eyebrow. Present Mic walked in with papers and looked over at her seat, and looked scared. I can't take this anymore. 

I stood up and walked over to the both of them. What do you guys know, and you're not telling me? Present Mic looked worried and said," I was going to ask you if you knew where she might be because you two seemed to know each other."

Yeah, we grew up with each other she was supposed to marry my eldest brother, but he died, and then she disappeared, and I wouldn't blame her with her family. Aizawa put down his pen and asked," What do you mean with her type of family?"

If she says not to send her home, it's because she knows they're going to do something she has shitty parents. Present Mic looked at Aizawa and said," I told you she told both of us not to send her to her house because her parents were going to do something, but you said no she's overreacting." 

What do you mean she said not to send her home? Aizawa rubbed the bridge of his nose and said," Yeah, we just sent her home. She was probably just overreacting." She's not overreacting her dad has sent her to the hospital multiple times for no reason. There's a reason she is the way she is.

Present Mic and Aizawa both stood up and told me to follow them. I did, and we ended up walking into the teachers' lounge, and they got All Might and Nezu. I got in the car with Aizawa and Present Mic and Aizawa looked back and said," You better be telling the truth, I feel like she just tried running away again or didn't want to come to school."

We finally made it to her house and there's no cars there except her motorcycle. Aizawa knocks on the door and looks back at us all and says," See, no one's home, so we don't need to worry she probably ran away again."

Nezu sniffed the air and asked," Do you smell that it smells Irony?" I moved a statue and grabbed the spare key and opened the door. Aizawa looked annoyed and said," You see nothing to worry about." I just ran into her house and turned the corner. Oh my gosh. I went running back over to the teachers. Call an ambulance. They all looked shocked and ran over to look. Present mic covered his mouth and looked like he was about to cry. 

She was covered in cuts and bruises while laying by her wings and laying in a pile of blood and puke. Present Mic pushes Aizawa and says," Does that look like overreacting to you?" Aizawa doesn't take his eyes off her, and I can't tell if she's dead or not. The ambulance finally makes it and takes her away. Present Mic and Aizawa go with her, and All Might just drops me off at home and tells me not to come to school today.

Coppers Pov

I slowly start to wake up to a cold room and can hear a beeping noise. A doctor walks in and says." Good, I was about to wake you up. You're good to go." W-What? Aizawa and Present Mic walk in, and Present Mic smiles and says," You're going to come home with us." Okay. I get in the car, and we go over to their house. Why am I here? Present Mic looks back and asks," You don't remember any of what happened, do you?"
