Good, you're smart. Now you better leave. He started walking towards me and asked,"Why would I wanna do something like that?" I just smiled and started having smoke come from the sides of my mouth, my nose, and my hands. He kind of stepped back, and my hood went flying off right when I caught my hands on fire.

Hawks Pov

I was patrolling late again when I saw a bright light come from an alleyway. What the fuck was that? I flew over and saw a hooded about 6'1 character start walking over to a lady on the ground. I fly down behind whoever it is and pull out a feather and use it as a sword.

Put your hands up where I can see them and slowly get on the ground. I notice whosever standing in front of the lady's hands are smoking. You alright ma'am? The lady looks scared and nods. I lose focus for just a second and the next thing I know I'm on the ground and whoever I had the sword to has it to me.

Fuck, how'd you do that? The person throws me down and crotches while rubbing the bridge of their nose. The one lady points and runs off. I slowly walk over to the person, and they kick away my sword, stand up and hug me.

Do I know you? I slowly take off the persons hood and notice blood-stained white hair in a bun. I can tell the person is crying and so I take off the hood to find Copper all beat up. Oh my gosh Copper are you okay, what happened? I then notice her back; her whole body is covered in bandages, but her wings are missing.

She just shakes her head, and I wipe her tears. Hey, it's okay. Don't cry. She pushes me away and looks away while saying,"I'm not crying. It would be something stupid to cry about." No, it wouldn't. I know how you feel. When birds lose their wings, it feels like the world's over.

She stopped walking and said,"You still have your wings mine can't grow back he cut off at the bone. He purposely made it where I could never fly again." She looked up at a building and basically jumped from building to building until she made it on top of one.

When I got up there, she was sitting on the edge looking out over the city. I just slowly walk over to her and sit down by her. She kinda just laughed and said,"Both my parents are in jail, I'm staying with Aizawa and Mic and it's torture, Aizawa he doesn't care about me and their kids are scared of me."

I just nod, not knowing what to say. She looks scared and asks,"Will they put me in a foster home or an adoption center? No one's gonna want me." She has lightning kind of shoot out her hands. What have you eaten today?

She looked up at me like she was about to kill me. Hey, I'm just asking. She shook her head and said,"I don't remember the last time I ate being honest, I don't even know how long I was in the hospital." Come on, kid, I'm getting you something to eat.

She just stood up and jumped down from the building. Fuck! I caught her a little before the ground. Don't do that! She just shrugged and said,"I knew you would catch me." We started walking over to a KFC near.

We ordered a family bowl and two coffees. You know, they probably think it's weird at 4:50 in the morning, a pro hero eating KFC with a teen, who should be sleeping. I pretend to sleep, and she just laughs. See, not everything is bad.

She just nods and takes another piece of chicken. I noticed she does that little bird nod. I just start laughing, and she looks so confused. She raises an eyebrow and says,"What's so funny? I wasn't doing anything?"

You do that little bird nod. I noticed you act a lot like a bird. She just bites her snakebites and says,"No shit I'm like a bird you do too." We both finished the chicken and stood up. She popped her back and said,"Well, I have school. I have to go too nice seeing you, bird man."

Naw ma'am, I'm walking you home. She just shrugged, and we started walking to their place. After about 27 minutes, we made it to their house. She just spun on her heels and said,"Well, thanks for supper and the talk." No problem, kid, you have my number. Call anytime I'll hang out.
