AURELIA POV

Aurelia just landed in London. She smile as she scanned her surroundings, she missed London so much. She was a bit tired but he pushed the feeling away so she could spend some time with Elrinã. The two only messaged each other but never texted as Elrinã had been occupied with other things. This was most likely the only day Elrinã had off, where they could hang out and catch up.

Aurelia and Elrinã decided to have a little movie night. Aurelia had almost no energy to dress up and go out and her friend felt the same way, feeling a bit fatigue, so the two settled on a cute movie night.

Elrinã chopped up some fresh strawberries and dipped them in chocolate sauce. Aurelia then filled her on everything that happened in detail, she did infact mention all the drama that has happened but she didn't go too in depth.

"So Lamelo lied and made everyone believe that Mariah is a cheater because he is a dick?" Elrinã asked as she took a bite into the fruit.

"Yes exactly that" Aurelia pointed setting up the blankets on the couch.

"That's a grown man.. let's just start there." Elrinã said side eyeing aurelia. It was probably the most immature thing he could do.

"That's what I said!! He is really so messed up for that, i hope that she isn't worrying about him too much. I bet Nia is going crazy about some "I told you so." She always knew there was something up with that boy."

"Me too, he was a little suspicious but maybe it was just my eyes but i meannn from what is going on now, it really isn't my eyes." She said agreeing with Nia's statement. Lamelo always gave off weird vibes.

"Rina, you literally went to the optometrist not even two days ago.." Aurelia said laughing. "How ironic." She said back to Aurelia causing the two to start laughing.

Elrinã brought the fruit and the snacks and began to set them up by the little coffee table. The two got comfortable and slipped themselves under the fuzzy warm blanket, switching on a show. It was just a random show because they have watched everything good on Netflix, it was just for background noise at this point. They were both well aware that at least 10 minutes into the movie they would just be talking to each other instead of actually watching.

"Oh, yes I wanted to ask you. Lia what's going on with you and that Felix boy?" Elrinã tilted her head to the side raising her brow to tease her friend.

"Nothing's going on, we spoke in person only three times, which was when we met at the jazz club, then on the pitch and the last time I saw him was yesterday. We're just growing as friends slowly, nothing much. He is just a bit flirtatious." Aurelia answered honestly, even though the thought and mention of his name did have her heart fluttering just a bit.

She wasn't going to admit that she maybe did have a small crsh on him that quickly. Maybe it was just one of those boys that you only like for a week.

"Hmm" her friend hummed still not believing her.
"Girl, trust me if something was going on. I would've told you." Aurelia said which was true. She didn't classify this situation between her and joão as something going on, because there wasn't anything going on.

"Okay I believe you."

"But."

"What's going on with those people in the comments? Why are they being so weird. They talking all about how he is a player and to be careful. I know you said you guys aren't on that level, but still be careful. Those people in the comments know him more than you do."

Aurelia nodded in understanding, her friend was right. Those people in the comments knew João more than she did. She only met him a few days ago and the people in the comments must have been following and keeping up with him for year.

They know his past and what he is like and from the comments alone, it seems that he doesn't have a good record with girls. She had put it in the back of her mind to make sure that if anything were to happen she wouldn't fall for his trap and become one of his side chicks.

"Yeah I don't know they all saying I must watch out, I think they all think I'm his girlfriend or something, so they giving me a warning. But Rina.. i- he seems so nice..." Aurelia trailed off and as soon as she said that her friend jumped eyes widened.

"Lia!! You better not fall for this trap. Did you just hear yourself. "Seems" "seems nice" not is nice. SEEMS!! Don't be deceived, anything crazy can happen. I don't want you to get hurt, you don't deserve that."

"Okay okay you're right, I won't fall for his trap and I will be careful."
"Mmtch, what would I ever do without you Rina, you're always so understanding. I missed you so much"
Aurelia said smiling and Elrinã pulled her in a hug giving her cheek a kiss.

"Of course, you know I'ma have your back baby. Come on." Elrinã said.

The two caught up on everything and munched on their snacks. They both felt tired and their eyes grew heavy, knocking out almost immediately as they adjusted their cushions letting the softness of the pillows overtake them.

During their little nap, Aurelia woke up. She couldn't fall asleep. Which was very weird, she craved for good sleep and missed london, her body ached a bit and she needed the rest but she couldn't even seem to bring herself to fall asleep. She stared at the ceiling trying to make herself fall asleep by softly humming some ADELE songs.

A notification from her phone diverted her attention away from the soft hums that came from her mouth. She ignored it but sighed too reach out for her phone when she heard the notification sound go off again at least three times.

She checked her phone and saw it was a message from João.

felix. no i'm actually awake.

hey, why are you still up though?
you're supposed to be asleep.

i was sleeping but i couldn't fall asleep properly.

oh, well i hope you get some sleep.
i wanted to ask if you ever landed safely, it's probably a bit too late to ask this now though seeing that you're already chilling at home.

just a little bit too late. but it's okay, i did arrive safely thanks for asking.
