Alicia POV

I waited patiently about an hour until my dad arrived home. I didn't know how to bring up the subject smoothly so I figured that I would just wing it.

I heard the front door shut so I knew he would go straight for the kitchen. I threw my little legs over the bed rushing down stairs camera at hand.

When I reached the kitchen he stood eating an apple. "Hi daddy" he looked down smiling at me "Hey pumpkin hows my girl doing." he question.

"Okay." I mumbled.

"Aw whats wrong sweety." he lifted me up sitting me on the counter. "I have something to tell you." I began.

"Go ahead talk I'm listening."

"Well I was cleaning mommy room today and-"

"Wait again!" he cut me off "didn't I tell you not to do that! And I told her not to ask you to do that!" he yelled out.

"Loran!" he shouted.

"She's not home." I informed.

He yanked out his phone pressing it to his ear out of pure anger "why do you have a camera in your hand go put that away...yes hello loran don't hey baby me why did you make her clean our room again." he lifted me off the counter ushering me up stairs warning me not to break the camera.

I oblided to his command leisurely walking up the stairs. Keeping my ears wide open.

"So a five year old ask to clean our room? Huh why am I finding that hard to believe."

"Because I know your lying! Where are you anyways?" he questioned I paused a bit wanting to hear everything.

"You left a five year old in a house alone! To go shopping!" he hollered.

"You asked and she said no? She said no! You don't leave a kid in a house by her self what if she set the house on fire! What if there was a robbery she says no, you say sorry hun I cant leave you by your self cause your not old enough and if she gets mad buy her some dam ice cream or a freaking book." I could imagine him pacing back and forth.

"Your so infuriating!" I heard foot steps so I hastily ran up the stairs rushing to my room gently placing down the camera. Then quickly picking up my book.

There was a knock on my door and it opened revealing a angry trying to be calm dad.

"Hey would you like a butty?"

"Yes please." I smiled following him out the room back to the kitchen. He made me the sandwich leaving the crust on. I hated when people cut it off it's like half of your bread gone! I mumbled a thank you before stuffing my face.

During our silent snack time we heard a car door slam. I guess mom's home. The front door opened giving us a view of queen and princess spend a lot. They each held five bags on each hand.

"Welcome home you two having fun putting us in debt?" my dad greeted coldly.

"Oh No! Hun we got these on sale well most of them " my mom responded back.

"Ummm that's what you always say we'll see when that credit card bill comes and didn't you go shopping last-" his statement was cut short by his blaring phone "excuse me...hello." he nodded to what the person was saying looking depressed and stressed. "Really Steven is it an actual emergency do I have to be there?" he questioned.

Oh Steven.....

I glanced to my mother all the bags where gone. She looked affected by the name.

"Alright I'll be there in ten." he hung up letting out a puff of air. "Steven needed me back at the office apparently there's been this bug attacking our system I'll be back in an hour or so." he stood grabbing his bag phone and wallet.

He was gone in a minute and that's when my pain began.

"You tattle telling bitch." my mom began "you told your dad huh?"

"Its not very appropriate to use volger language when children are around." I stated she slapped me hard it didn't sting it burned I felt her ring cut the lower part of my eye.

"Don't sass me."

"I wasn't sassing just stating a fact." She slapped me again.

"I despise you." she spat out at me.

"Feelings mutual." I muttered under my breath. She took a grip of my wrist forcefully pulling me toward her I saw Clair hand her something.

Turning my wrist over she began to cut with a blade. I shrieked in pain and surprise, I was going to move but that would just increase the pain and the possibility of her cutting a vein.

I felt the blade digging in deeper she moved to another area it stung like a thousand bee stings. Blood oozed slowly but heavily from the wound, creating unbearable stabbing pains.

While she was cutting I looked up at her face not having the guts to look down. Her eyes where fueled with passion and energy she was full of life.

She..she...she enjoyed this.

I cried even more how could she be soo happy? Why is she happy? After a long brutal five minutes or so.

She stopped looking down at my wrist and teary face. She smiled satisfied with her job. She commanded clair to clean the floor she then took me upstairs to her bathroom pouring rubbing alcohol all over my cuts slapping me if I screamed then pored water telling me to get the bleeping out of her room.

As I was walking back to my room she threw a box at me telling they where bandages.

Reaching my room I collapsed on the floor balling my eyes out. Wishing that my dad was home more often. I went to the bathroom and began properly cleaning my cuts I've learn over the years.

Nope this wasn't the first time.

When I was finish I took out my stitching kit that my uncle that's a doctor gave to me. He told me if i ever get cut that this would do the trick. I never really had to stitch but today the cuts were wide and deep you could faintly see my bones.

After stitching I went to my calendar to mark this date making sure I wasn't loosing too much blood during all this. Fortunate for me the last cut rampage was two months ago. I gaze around the calendar noticing a red dot on tomorrow. I went to my guidelines for my calendar that i made a year back every color dot had a meaning. The red dot meant birthday I went back to the date and there was a small letter m next to the dot.

Tomorrows my mom birthday.

Its too bad I don't care.
