Houston, Texas:

Journee answered her phone the moment Chris's name flashed across her screen. "Hey, baby," she said, leaning back in her seat.

"Must be nice, bitch," Yvette muttered, and Phoenix shot her a 'girl, please' look.

"Girl, that fine-ass man wants you, and you're friend-zoning him? And he's rich? Didn't you say a rich nigga was your type?" Phoenix teased.

"Hey, babe, I'm about to take the kids and Peanut to the park. Didn't want to leave any doors unlocked—"

"Damn, I forgot to give you a key," she replied, quickly grabbing her laptop from her drawer opening her laptop. "Go to my office," she instructed, logging into her home security app and switching to the office camera view. She watched as Chris entered the room. "Now move the bookshelf behind my desk."

"How the hell did you know I was in here?"

"I'm a federal agent, remember? Living undercover most of the time, with plenty of enemies. I have to stay safe."

"So... you can see me right now?" he asked, glancing around for the camera, making her laugh as he struggled to find it.

"Yes, baby, I can see you."

"So, you be spying on me?" he asked with a smirk.

"No, I only check if my silent alarm is set off."

"Silent what?"

"I'll show you when I get off. Just move that bookshelf." Chris placed her on speaker, set the phone down, and shifted the bookshelf, revealing a large steel door with a keypad on it.

"05051989," she said, watching as he typed in the numbers. She switched to the vault's camera view, observing as he stepped back when the door clicked open and swung out on its own.

Chris stepped inside, looking around in awe. "What is this, girl?" he asked, taking in the gun collection lining one wall, the unzipped duffel bags stuffed with cash along the floor, and the wall of filing cabinets, each with its own keypad.

"The first filing cabinet has a jar on top. Open it and grab a key from inside," she instructed. He picked up the jar, pulled out a key, and then carefully returned everything to its place, closing the vault door and repositioning the bookshelf.

"What, you know something about a war I need to prepare for?" he joked, picking up the phone as he left her office.

She chuckled. "No, life just taught me to always be prepared."

"I love you. Let me get these kids to the park, then I'll come back, make lunch, and put them down for a nap."
