The next day at U.A. arrived with a mix of excitement and nerves as Class 1-A began their first official day of classes. The morning kicked off with Present Mic's English class, his booming voice filling the room.
"WHO'S READY TO LEARN SOME ENGLISH?!" Present Mic's voice thundered, making the windows shake slightly.
Suzuha Chikage winced at the volume, rubbing her temples, but her enthusiasm for the subject soon took over. English had always been one of her strongest subjects, and even Present Mic's loudness couldn't dampen her excitement. She jotted down notes eagerly, relishing the academic focus after yesterday's intense physical tests. *This is what I've been waiting for - learning with purpose and pushing my limits.*
As Present Mic continued the lesson, she glanced around the room, noticing her classmates' varied reactions to his teaching style. Izuku Midoriya was leaning forward, his pen moving quickly, capturing every word, while Tenya Iida was sitting perfectly upright, nodding whenever Present Mic emphasized a key point. Katsuki Bakugo had his arms crossed, looking as though he was only half-listening.
*Everyone's here for a reason,* Suzuha thought, finding motivation in the dedication she saw around her. *We're all different, but we're all striving for the same goal.*

**Lunch Break**
By lunchtime, Suzuha was both focused and quietly anticipating the Hero Basic Training scheduled for the afternoon. As she made her way to the cafeteria, her thoughts wandered to the lunch prices posted at the entrance.
She scanned the menu carefully, mentally comparing the prices to what she might spend if she cooked at home. *It's affordable for a cafeteria,* she mused, *but I could probably make similar meals at home for less.* Suzuha had always been meticulous with budgeting, often cooking her own meals to save money. Today, though, she opted to try U.A.'s cafeteria food, curious to see how it measured up.
Settling down with her tray, she noticed her classmates around her, chatting and laughing as they ate. At a nearby table, Mina Ashido and Denki Kaminari were animatedly discussing what Hero Basic Training might entail.
"You think we'll get to spar or something?" Denki asked, eyes bright with excitement.
"I hope so! I want to see everyone's Quirks in action!" Mina replied, giving a cheerful wave to Suzuha when their eyes met. Suzuha returned the wave with a polite nod, feeling a bit more at ease. *Everyone seems just as excited as I am.*
Suzuha took a bite, noting the taste and texture of the food. *Not bad,* she thought, mentally tallying up the cost against what she'd spend on a similar homemade lunch. *It's good to have options.*
Amidst the cafeteria buzz, her mind drifted to a few questions she'd been hoping to ask her teachers. Suzuha had been planning to find one of them during lunch, perhaps to ask about improving her flexibility or refining her control of Manipulative Mastery. But with only a short break before the next class, she decided against it.
*There's no rush,* she reminded herself, reaching into her bag to pull out a set of homework instead. She'd brought it along, figuring there might be some spare time to complete it. Suzuha opened her notebook, her pencil gliding across the page as she worked on the assignment, her mind momentarily focused on the familiar routine of studying. *Better to use this time wisely.*
As she worked, Suzuha felt a quiet satisfaction in staying on top of her responsibilities. This was her way of preparing for the real test—the challenge of balancing academics, hero training, and personal improvement.

**Hero Basic Training Begins**
Afternoon finally arrived, and the class gathered back in the classroom, excitement building. Suddenly, the door burst open, and All Might entered in his Silver Age costume, striking a pose.
"I have come through the door like a normal person!" he declared with his trademark enthusiasm, causing the room to erupt.
"It's All Might! Incredible—he's really going to teach us!" someone exclaimed, unable to contain their excitement.
"And look! He's wearing his Silver Age costume!" another student pointed out with awe.
All Might gave a proud smile as he addressed the class. "Welcome to Basic Hero Training! This class will put you through all sorts of special training to mold you into heroes!"
Suzuha's heart raced as she listened, her gaze fixed on All Might. *This is it—what we've been waiting for.*
With a flourish, All Might held up a card with the word 'BATTLE' printed on it in bold letters.
"There's no time to dally!" he announced, his voice brimming with energy. "Today's activity... is BATTLE TRAINING!"
The class broke into murmurs, a mixture of excitement and nerves rippling through them. Suzuha took a steadying breath, gripping the straps of her bag. *This is the first step toward real hero training.*
