After the students had dispersed and Izuku was sent to Recovery Girl, All Might approached Shota Aizawa, his usual jovial demeanor replaced with a stern expression.
"Eraser Head, you're a liar," All Might accused. "You once expelled an entire class."
Aizawa remained unfazed, his eyes calm behind his ever-present goggles. "Midoriya is above the zero mark. I can expel anyone who drops below at any time," he replied evenly.
All Might frowned, concern furrowing his brows. "You push them hard, Shota. Especially Midoriya. He's still learning how to control his Quirk."
Aizawa's gaze didn't waver. "They'll face worse out there than anything I throw at them here. Midoriya needs to learn control, and fast. He's not special. Not in my class."
All Might sighed but nodded, recognizing that Aizawa's approach, while harsh, came from a place of experience. "Just don't break him."
Aizawa smirked slightly, turning his attention away as their conversation ended.
As they parted ways, Aizawa became aware of a presence nearby. He turned, slightly surprised to see Suzuha Chikage standing there, her expression one of determined curiosity. She had approached so quietly that even he, with his heightened awareness, hadn't noticed her.
Aizawa blinked, taken aback by her sudden appearance but quickly regained his composure. "What is it, Suzuha?" he asked, his tone neutral.
Suzuha hesitated for a moment, then stepped forward. "I was hoping to get some advice on how I can improve."
Aizawa studied her for a moment, noting the sincerity in her voice. "Alright," he said at last. "But first, let me see your notes."
Suzuha handed over her booklet without hesitation. As Aizawa flipped through the pages, she watched him carefully. Her mind was still reeling from the day's events-Bakugo's anger, Izuku's resilience, and her own realization about Aizawa being someone from her past.
*Does he remember?* she wondered, but held back from asking directly. It wasn't the right moment.
Aizawa scanned her observations, impressed by their thoroughness but keeping his expression neutral. Her analysis of her classmates was sharp, insightful, and detailed. After a few moments, he handed the booklet back to her.
"Your observations are solid," Aizawa said, his tone measured. "You've got a keen eye for detail, which is a good quality. But don't let it consume you. Balance your analysis with action."
Suzuha nodded, taking his advice seriously. She had been reflecting on this herself-whether she spent too much time observing, not enough time acting. "Thank you, sir," she replied, her voice steady. "I'll apply it."
Aizawa gave a curt nod. "Good. Now, go back to class. We're done here."
As Suzuha turned to leave, Aizawa found himself watching her walk away, a faint trace of something familiar tugging at his mind. There was something in her demeanor, the quiet confidence mixed with sharp observation, that reminded him of someone he couldn't quite place.
It had been years since he'd had any personal connections to a student, but this sense of familiarity gnawed at him. *Where have I seen this before?* he wondered briefly. His gaze lingered on her retreating figure, a distant memory just out of reach.
He shook his head, dismissing the thought for now. It wasn't important at the moment, but the feeling remained. He made a mental note to keep an eye on her progress. There was something about Suzuha Chikage that warranted closer attention.
Suzuha walked away, her mind buzzing with thoughts. *Balance observation with action,* she repeated to herself. She was quick to analyze, quick to take notes, but sometimes she felt like she hesitated in the moment. That hesitation could be dangerous in the field.
*I need to act faster, trust my instincts more.*
As Aizawa watched her for a moment longer, the faint feeling of familiarity still hovered in the back of his mind. Though he couldn't quite place it, he knew that there was something about her - a connection to something, or someone, from his past.
