Suzuha Chikage sat quietly in her seat, observing the buzzing conversations around her.
Class 1-A was an interesting mix of personalities, with some students already talking excitedly and others, like herself, quietly taking in the new environment. After the earlier tension between Bakugo and Tenya, the energy in the room remained charged with a mix of excitement and nervous anticipation.
Nearby, Ochaco Uraraka was chatting with Izuku Midoriya about how thrilled she was to be at U.A. and how she hoped to make lots of friends.
Izuku, clearly nervous, stammered out a response, his face a mix of anxiety and excitement.
Before their conversation could continue, a voice suddenly cut through the chatter like a knife.
"If you're here to make friends, you might as well pack up and go home now."
The room fell deathly silent.
Izuku and Ochaco flinched at the unexpected interruption, their conversation grinding to a halt. Suzuha's head snapped toward the door, her attention immediately grabbed by the figure that seemed to have appeared out of nowhere.
A man in a yellow sleeping bag shuffled into the classroom. His tired eyes scanned the students with a dispassionate gaze, and in one swift motion, he unzipped the sleeping bag and stood before the class.
"It took you all eight seconds too long to quiet down," he stated coldly, his voice carrying a note of quiet authority that silenced any remaining murmurs.
Suzuha felt her pulse quicken. *Eight seconds?* She had been seated on time, but the idea of such strict expectations so early in the day made her uneasy.
The man continued without waiting for a response, his tone as calm as it was sharp. "I'm Shota Aizawa, your homeroom teacher."
Suzuha's eyes widened, her interest piqued. *Aizawa?* The name tugged at her memory. She had heard of him before somewhere, though the details were fuzzy. She straightened in her seat, a mix of curiosity and wariness filling her. If he was who she thought he was, this would be no ordinary school year.
Meanwhile, Aizawa continued his introduction, wasting no time. "We're not doing orientation. We're going straight to training."
The room went silent again. The students exchanged confused glances, some of them still trying to wrap their heads around the abrupt shift in tone. No orientation? No introductions?
Aizawa began pulling out a standard set of U.A. gym uniforms from a bag in his yellow sleeping bag and distributed them to the students.
"Get changed into your P.E. clothes and meet me at the P.E. Grounds," he instructed, his tone leaving no room for questions or hesitation.
With that, he turned and left the classroom just as suddenly as he had appeared, leaving the students in stunned silence. Suzuha clutched the gym clothes in her hands, feeling a sudden weight in the air. *This is serious. No easing into it-he's pushing us right from the start.*

#### Girls' Locker Rooms
The locker room was filled with murmurs of uncertainty as the students changed into their gym uniforms. Suzuha overheard several conversations, the most anxious being Ochaco's. She was talking to a pink hair girl, trying to make sense of what Aizawa had said earlier.
"Do you think we'll be tested on our Quirks today?" one student asked nervously.
Another answered, "Probably. U.A.'s known for throwing us right into the deep end."
