"Friendly" date

Shelly heard a knock on her door just a few minutes after she entered her room. She answered the door wondering who was there. "Uh... Hi Shelly," Vee said in the most most monotone way ever. Shelly felt a burst of happiness go through her. "H- Hi! What brings you here?" Shelly
asked. "I saw you didn't eat much. Not that I care," "I'm fine, I just don't have an appetite," She replied to Vee's worry. "Unbelievable," Vee thought. " You're coming with me, no questions asked," Vee grabbed Shelly's wrist, forcing her to follow. "Wha- Vee!" Shelly was surprised by how suddenly this was done. "I'm taking you somewhere to eat. You can't say no," Vee told Shelly.
Vee took Shelly around the rather small town where all the toons lived, until she found a casual restaurant. (This AU the toons live in a town but they do share one building) Shelly and Vee sat at a clean and empty booth. "Y'know you really don't have to do this? I'm perfectly fine without a breakfast..." Shelly said. "There's a chance you might not have dinner, and lunch definitely won't fill you up," Vee said, a slight bit of concern in her voice. Shelly blushed a bit, having Vee's concern just seemed so rare. Shelly felt flattered to have Vee's concern. Felt like a warm hug. "I guess I'll eat... Am I wasting your time though?" "No. I have a lot of free time," Vee responded.
Surprisingly they had Goob as their waiter. He never seemed the type to get a job like this. This is most likely a pass time thing though. "Hellooo~, what would you guys like to order?" Goob asked. "Uhm... I'll just have eggs and bacon please..." Shelly said. "Anything for you Vee?" "Nope. Remember I can't eat actual food? I don't have a mouth" Vee said in reply to Goob. "Riiiight," Goob said before leaving to assist others.
"Heh... I didn't expect him to being working a part-time job," Shelly said. "He's unpredictable. If he can do it, he'll more than likely do it," Vee said in response.
Shelly patiently waited for her food to arrive. She and Vee conversated during the time she waited. Everytime Shelly would mention a dinosaur, Vee would quietly groan in annoyance. She eventually just stopped listening to Shelly talking and stared straight into her eyes. "I hate you so much... You make me feel all warm and fuzzy on the inside... What are you doing to me..." Bee thought to herself. These feelings are new to Vee. She doesn't know what they mean, or what their purpose is. All she knows is that she doesn't like it... Well maybe she likes it a little.
Finally Shelly's food was served. She ate every last bite just so Vee wouldn't day anything about hunger. Shelly felt happy that Vee forced her to eat. If she didn't, then Shelly wouldn't have gotten a moment to actually talk to her. Vee felt happy that she accomplished forcing Shelly to eat. Shelly felt warm, squishy, and happy. It was hard for her to believe that she was actually this close to her crush.
It only took a few minutes for Shelly to eat her breakfast, it was only 2 eggs and 6 pieces of bacon anyway.
After Vee paid with tapes, they left the restaurant, heading back home.

I lost a lot of motivation on this chapter so ik it's rlly lazy. I'm writing a book on google Docs so I've been rlly pulled up on writing. I'll try writing another chapter tomorrow!!
