Vee's crush

Shelly woke up at 11am, because no alarm was set.

Surprisingly Astro was awake, he usually didn't wake up until 2pm.
He was playing Uno with Vee.
"Can I join?" Shelly asked after they finished a round. "Oh you're awake? Also, yeah you can..." Astro said.
Vee and Astro scooted to give Shelly some space to sit.
Shelly sat next to Vee. Vee shuffled the card and handed each person 7 cards.
Shelly's eyes sparkled when she saw her deck.
She had 2 +4, a yellow reverse, 3 change colors, and a blue 2.
They played multiple rounds of Uno, Shelly winning the first, Astro winning the second, Vee winning the third, Vee also don't the forth, Shelly won the fifth, and Astro won the sixth.
They all laughed and pretty much had a good time.
Soon Sprout and Cosmo woke up, so they played even more rounds of Uno. Sprout won the seventh, Shelly won the eighth, Vee won the ninth, and Cosmo won the tenth.
Soon later Sprout and Cosmo left to bake pastries for their restaurant.
Only 30 minutes after that Vee had to go for an update.
Now the last person was Astro.
Shelly stared at the Vee plush she hid under her bed, it was just barely noticeable.
Then she had an idea.
"Hey Astro are you up for a dare?" Shelly asked. "Uhm... I don't have anything else to do so sure..."
"Answer truthfully ok?" "Ok?" Astro responded with slight question. "If you know, or if she even has one, who is Vee's crush?" Shelly asked, hoping he would even answer.
Astro froze not knowing what to say. His thoughts were running through his mind, he was asking himself "Should I tell her, or should I not?"
Finally after a while of sitting in silence Astro speaks up. "Uh... Uhm... So Vee likes-" Astro gets cut off.
"Hey Shelly can you help me clean Scraps room please?" Tisha asked after opening the door. "Yeah of course!"
Shelly stood up and left the room, waiting for Astro to do the same.
As Shelly helped Tisha clean, she couldn't help but wonder, "Who is Vee's crush? I was so close to knowing..."
After cleaning Tisha said thank you and left.
Shelly was really curious, so she went to find Astro.
She roamed to halls in hope she would find Astro, or maybe Vee to spend some time with her.
Eventually, Shelly found Astro. Sadly, Go on was chattering on about anything and everything to Astro.
Shelly didn't wanna ruin their conversation.
She walked off, sad because she wouldn't know who's Vee's crush just yet, and she had no one to talk to at the moment.
That's when she spotted Vee.
Her heart jumped with joy, she was so happy to see Vee.
She walked up to Vee
For a few hours Shelly and Vee talked. Vee's eyes had an odd shine, Shelly did question it though.
Later in the day, after Shelly and Vee spent some quality time, Shelly headed for Astro's room.
She knocked on the door, then waiting to hear if there was a response.
Astro opened the door welcoming Shelly into his room.
Shelly entered the the moon like toons room, and sat down on his bed.
Astro sat down after she did, waiting for her to say something.
"Uhm so... Remember how you were about to tell me who Vee has a crush on, but you were cut off?" "Mhm... I do," Astro responded. "Can you please tell me now?' " Oh, and, I get if you don't want to though!" The fossil like toon added. "Yeah I'll tell you now... Uhm... Vee likes-"
Astro heard knocking at the door. "I'll get it," Astro said.
He hopped off the bed and walked to the door.
He opened the door to see Vee, with her mic cord tangled.
"Can you help me untangle this?" Vee said. Vee saw Shelly and waved. "Hi Shelly," She said.
Shelly saw that Vee sorta had a twinkle in her eye. Like the sparkle in her eye she had earlier. She again didn't question it. "Hi Vee!" Shelly responded.
"I'll get it untangled... You can stay if you want Shelly," Astro said, letting Vee in the room.
Vee entered the room.
"I'm fine I'll just leave... Uhm... Bye!!" Shelly said as she left the room.
She closed the door behind her. She didn't really need to know who Vee'd crush was but she would probably feel more or less at ease knowing.
