Jealousy

"Hey Vee... Do you wanna be friends?" Shelly asked, this was the very least she wanted from Vee if they weren't to be partners. "Hmm... Befriending you doesn't seem half bad. So, sure," Vee responded.
Over time Shelly and Vee became closer, she was never as close to Vee as Astro was, but she was happy to have Vee at least as a friend.
Being just a friend wasn't enough. Being only a friend didn't give much time with Vee. She was always with Astro.
Shelly didn't hate Astro at all. She saw him as an amazing friend. She's just jealous that Astro would get all of Vee's time. The only time Shelly could get Vee to herself was when Goob would steal Astro for a while. This while would be an hour or two.
"Heya Astro!" Goob said. "I guess that's my que," Vee said before leaving Astro with Goob. "Finally I get Vee to myself. It feels like it's been forever since I've talked to her," Shelly thought to herself. She was more than happy to talk to Vee. The only thing she really wanted to do was talk to Vee.
"Hi Vee... Wanna just talk until Astro comes back?" She asked, hoping Vee would say yes. "Sure, it gets boring without talking to anyone anyway," Vee replied. Shelly was jumping with joy. Well she wasn't actually jumping, but she was really happy.
Neither knew how long they were talking until Tisha came up to Shelly. Tisha noticed Vee and gave a glare for a few seconds. Vee shot a glare back. After this interaction between the two, Tisha went back to what she was gonna originally do.
"Hello Shelly, I cleaned and polished your fossils, do you want them now or do you want me to put them in your room?" Tisha asked. "Are you sure you can hold them all? I'll help because they're mine anyway, ok?" "Ok, of course I would love the help though," Tisha responded to Shelly.
Vee felt annoyed that Tisha stole Shelly from her. She shot another glare at Tisha. "Why did she have to steal Shelly from me. Ugh. People are so annoying. I just wanna talk to Shelly right now," Vee thought to herself, soon realising that's not what she usually thinks when Shelly is stolen from her. At least not until she didn't think like this a lot before taking Shelly to eat breakfast. "What is wrong with me lately..." Vee thought to herself.
Vee wanted attention from Shelly, Shelly wanted attention from Vee. Neither of them knew the other wanted their attention.
Shelly was putting her fossil collection back in the glass box she always had them displayed in. No one knew how many fossils Shelly had, she just had a lot. The whole time she couldn't help but miss talking to Vee, though it's only been a few minutes.
"Are you ok Shelly? You seem a little down," Tisha asked. "I'm perfect, just looking forward to doing something..." Shelly said in response.
The second they finished putting all the fossils away, Shelly went to find Vee of course.
Eventually Shelly found Vee. Thankfully Astro didn't come back just yet.
"Hi Vee! I'm back," Shelly said happily. "Oh, hi," "Shall we get back to our conversation?" Vee asked. "We shall," Shelly responded in joy.
They conversated for another hour or two. This is the longest Astro has ever been gone. Both Shelly and Vee enjoyed the quality time together. Neither of them could help but giggle ever time they talked.
It was funny that Shelly was jealous that Astro got Vee's attention a lot. Vee was jealous that Tisha could just steal Shelly's attention at anytime. It was annoying.
When Astro came back he realised Vee was more happy than usual. Astro smiled and left trying not to get noticed by either of them. Sadly Shelly saw him leaving and told Vee he was back.
Vee waved bye to Shelly, saying thank you for keeping her company.

This is the least amount of time zones took writing a chapter. I only took an hour. I usually took 3 hours, I guess I was just rlly motivated for this. I was squealing about the rankings on this before I was writing lol.
