Sunlight streams through the window, illuminating a messy room. Freen is sprawled on his bed, scrolling through his phone, his face a mixture of boredom and annoyance.
SOUND of a knock on the door
Freen: (Grumbling) Come in!
(The door opens, revealing FREEN'S MOM)
Freen's Mom: Freen, honey, it's time to get ready for school.
Freen: (Sighing) I know, I know.
Freen's Mom: (Smiling) Are you excited for your first day?
Freen: (Rolling his eyes) Excited? Mom, it's school. It's not exactly a rock concert.
Freen's Mom: (Chuckling) I know, I know. But it's a new school, new friends, new experiences. You'll have a great time.
Freen: (Sitting up) Yeah, maybe. But I'm not really looking forward to the whole "new kid" thing.
Freen's Mom: (Patting Freen's shoulder) Don't worry, you'll be fine. You're a cool guy, you'll make friends in no time.
Freen: (Scoffs) Yeah, right. Like I need more friends.
Freen's Mom: (Smiling) Well, you never know. Maybe you'll meet someone special.
Freen: (Laughing) Mom, please. I'm not looking for romance. I'm just trying to survive for dad.
Freen's Mom: (Kissing Freen on the forehead) Okay, okay. Just promise me you'll try to have fun and don't think to much about your dad.
Freen:(Grumbling) Fine. But I'm not promising anything. About dad I can't promise too about handling our company.
Freen's Mom: (Leaving the room) Okay, love you! See you later! Don't think about it freen maybe soon he will understand.
Freen sighs and throws his phone on the bed. He gets up and walks to his closet, picking out a cool, casual outfit. He runs a hand through his hair, trying to tame his unruly curls.
Freen: (To himself) Okay, Freen, another fcking day and don't let the first day get to you.
(KITCHEN - MORNING)
Freen walks into the kitchen, where his mom is preparing breakfast.
Freen's Mom: (Smiling) Are you done? Come here, eat your breakfast already.
Freen:(Nodding) Yeah, I guess. Dad left already?
Freen's Mom: (Placing a plate of pancakes in front of him) Here you go, yes your dad left already. Eat up, you've got a big day ahead of you.
Freen: (Taking a bite of pancake) These are good.
Freen's Mom: (Smiling) Thanks. I made them especially for you.
Freen:(Smiling) You're the best, Mom.
Freen's Mom: (Kissing Freen on the cheek) I love you, honey. Have a great day!
Freen finishes his breakfast and grabs his backpack. He gives his mom one last hug and heads out the door.
(OUTSIDE FREEN'S HOUSE - MORNING)
Freen walks through the garage and pick his favorite (Bugatti chiron)
