BECKY'S DORM ROOM - MORNING
Sunlight streams through the window, illuminating a small, cozy dorm room. Becky is curled up in bed, her face buried in a fluffy pillow. The alarm clock buzzes insistently beside her.
(SOUND of alarm clock)
Becky groans and rolls over, trying to ignore the insistent buzzing. But the alarm clock is relentless, and eventually, she gives in.
Becky: (Muttering) Okay, okay, I'm awake.
She reaches over and turns off the alarm clock. She sits up in bed, rubbing her eyes and yawning.
Becky: (To herself) First day of college. Here we go.
She looks around the room, taking in her new surroundings. It's a small, simple room, but it's hers. She's finally moved out of her parents' house and into her own space.
Becky: (Smiling) It's actually kind of nice.
She gets out of bed and walks over to the window. She looks out at the bustling college campus, filled with students rushing to their classes.
Becky: (Taking a deep breath) This is it. A new chapter.
She feels a mix of excitement and nervousness. She's excited about the new opportunities and challenges that college offers, but she's also a little nervous about being away from home and starting a new life.
Becky: (To herself) I can do this. I just need to be myself and try to make the most of it.
She walks over to her closet and picks out a simple, comfortable outfit. She's not trying to impress anyone, she just wants to feel confident and comfortable.
(BECKY'S DORM ROOM - LATER)
Becky is getting ready for the day. She's put on her outfit, brushed her hair, and applied a touch of makeup. She's looking in the mirror, trying to adjust her glasses.
Becky: (To herself) Okay, Becky, you look great. Now just relax and be yourself.
She takes a deep breath and grabs her backpack. She's ready to face the first day of college.
