HOSPITAL ROOM

The room is bathed in the soft, blue glow of the nightlights. Freen lies in the bed, his face pale and still. A steady beeping sound emanates from the heart monitor beside her. Thanawat sits by his bedside, his hand gently resting on him.

Thanawat: (Voice filled with worry) Please, Freen, wake up. I need you.

He leans closer, his voice cracking with emotion.

Thanawat: (Whispering) I'm here, bro. Everything's going to be okay.

The door opens, and Becky enters. Thanawat looks up, his eyes widening in surprise.

Thanawat: (Voice tight) Becky. What are you doing here?

Becky walks towards him, her eyes filled with concern.

Becky: (Softly) I... I wanted to see her. I heard about the accident.

Thanawat stands up, his gaze fixed on Freen. He takes a deep breath, his shoulders slumping with exhaustion.

Thanawat: (Voice heavy with grief) he... he's not doing well. The doctors say it's going to be a long recovery.

Becky's heart aches for Freen. She reaches out and gently touches Thanawat's arm.

Becky: (Sympathetically) I'm so sorry, Thanawat.

Thanawat turns to her, his eyes filled with a mixture of anger and sadness.

Thanawat: (Voice raw) Why? Why did this happen?

Becky hesitates, unsure how to answer. She knows Thanawat is blaming her, but she can't bring herself to lie.

Becky: (Softly) I... I don't know. I saw the news and... I just...

She trails off, unable to find the words. Thanawat looks at her, his expression unreadable.

Thanawat: (Quietly) You saw the news? You just saw the news?

Becky nods, her eyes welling up with tears.

Becky: (Voice cracking) I... I didn't know. I didn't know what happened.

Thanawat takes a step back, his anger replaced by a deep sense of disappointment. He looks at Freen, his face etched with a profound sadness.

Thanawat: (Whispering) he needs you, Becky. He needs you to be here for him.

He turns to Becky, his eyes pleading.

Thanawat: (Softly) Please, stay. Stay with him.

Becky nods, her heart heavy with worry. She takes a seat beside Thanawat, her hand resting gently on Freen's.

HOSPITAL ROOM - DAY

The room is quiet, filled only with the soft hum of the machines and the gentle beeping of the heart monitor. Freen lies in the bed, his face pale, his eyes closed. Thanawat sits beside him, his hand resting on him. Becky sits on the other side of the bed, his fixed on Freen.

Thanawat: (Softly) She's been asleep for hours. I'm starting to worry.

He glances at Becky, who is wiping a tear from her cheek.

Thanawat: (Voice gentle) It's okay to cry, Becky. We all need to let it out.

Becky nods, her eyes still fixed on Freen.

Becky: (Whispering) I just want her to wake up. I want to hear her laugh again.

Thanawat reaches out and takes Becky's hand.

Thanawat: (Voice sincere) She's strong, Becky. She'll pull through this.

Becky squeezes his hand, her heart filled with a mixture of hope and fear.

Becky: (Whispering) I hope you're right.

The door opens, and a doctor enters. He walks over to Freen's bed, checking his vitals.

Doctor: (Voice calm) Well, he's stable for now. But we'll need to keep him under observation for a few more days.

Thanawat and Becky exchange a worried glance.

Thanawat: (Voice anxious) Will he be okay?

Doctor: (Voice reassuring) He's young and healthy. He has a good chance of making a full recovery.

Thanawat and Becky breathe a sigh of relief.

Doctor: (Continuing)But he'll need plenty of rest and support.

He looks at them both, his eyes filled with empathy.

Doctor: (Softly) He's lucky to have you both.

Thanawat and Becky share a look, their eyes filled with a newfound understanding. They both know that they have a lot of work to do, but they also know that they're not alone. They have each other, and they have Freen.
