You were gazing at Trunks when all of a sudden, he shoved you to Goten, and seemed to teleport to a trench coat wearing man.

It was hard to see around Goten's shoulder, but he didn't release you, not one bit. In fact, he leaned to whisper, "that guys been taking pictures of you. Stay hidden, okay?"

(What's going on? Where did Trunks go?)

You looked up at Goten with concern. "Trunks, where did he go?"

Goten pushed your head into his chest and made a shushing sound. His dark eyes were narrow and searching around, like a cat.

It became apparent that you had no choice but breathe in his earthy scent and try to figure things out alone. Trunks was gone, there was a creep taking photos, and you were stuck with Goten. Where had your boyfriend left to?

"Goten...," you mumbled, "I'm suffocating ."

Finally he let you poke your head from between his arms and you took deep breathes. He was still searching around with his eyes. "Sorry. I have to do this. I don't know if that guy was alone or not."

"He was taking pictures?" You confirmed.

"Yeah. What's worse is that he had a really evil energy—uh, vibe! Really bad vibe." Goten said.

"Is Trunks okay? He went after him, didn't he?"

Goten nodded. "Yeah. Let's get out of here and wait outside for him. It's too hard to keep track of every person here..." he then swallowed, "sorry! I'm probably freaking you out."

"I'm okay. This isn't the first time something like this has happened." You replied, turning your head left and right to try and see where Trunks had gone. It was useless; the aquarium was too crowded.

Goten kept your head ducked under his arm, covering your face from view, and directed you out the entrance. He looked around before releasing you.

"It seems safe. But just in case, let's not get separated. I'm going to charge my—phone, and let him know where we are." Goten said.

He held out his hand and you took it, trying not to show how embarrassing it had been to be near someone who wasn't your boyfriend. Goten was a good person, and you trusted him, too.

Together the two of you cleared the street and dashed a good distance until going into a tiny boba shop. It was oddly empty of people, had a brown and green theme, and lots of plants. Goten held the door open for you and entered after. He sighed, "okay. Nobody followed us. Sorry about all this, Yin."

"I'm lucky to have you and Trunks here. Thank you for coming to my rescue." You said, smiling shyly.

"No biggie. Anyone who tries to hurt an innocent girl will have us to fight." Goten grinned. "Oh, here comes Trunks."

You turned around and couldn't see anyone coming at all from the large windows. Maybe Goten was seeing things? As you turned back to Goten, he said, "he'll be here in about two minutes. I uh, got a text!"

(He texted Goten before me? But—)

"You said your phone needed charged. Wasn't it dead?" You asked him suspiciously.

"You must have uh, heard wrong! It isn't dead, see?" Goten turned his screen on and showed you. The battery was at 60%. He also had a picture of some kind of superhero for a Home Screen.

"Oh. I guess you're right..." you said, blushing. "Sorry. I'm just a little confused about things right now, I guess."

"Don't worry about it. We're friends, right?"
