Keeping Up With The Alsinas

My name is Maya Alsina. I am August Alsina's wife. He is a defense lawyer for New York top law firm. He some times put his work before his family only to provide for us. I know he is a hard working man and loves his family to death. August & I got married when we were only 16. Right after we had our twin daughters , Brianna and Brielle, our parents thought it would only be right if we got married so we had our little ceremony.

Right after we had the twins, we waited another year to have a baby and that was our son, August III. The high school said if I had any more kids, they was going to kick me out so I didn't even bother getting pregnant. Once it was almost graduation, I was pregnant again with our fourth kid which was a another boy. 

I gave birth to Carter Mason Alsina on August's birthday and I couldn't be much happier. I went to college online and graduated in fashion and cosmetology so I was doing hair in our basement until August graduated college with a law degree. Within months we moved into our house and August bought me a salon. I couldn't be any happier.

I got pregnant again with our fifth baby and it was a girl. I gave birth to Monae Rose Alsina. I thought she was gone be my last baby for the family but she wasn't. 2 months after giving birth to Monae, I ended up pregnant again with another girl! Jaelynn Aria Alsina made it to the world within 32 weeks later. She was born  little too early and she was a healthy baby.

Well there you have it. All six of my babies. Brianna & Brielle 8 years old, August III 7 years old, Carter 5 years old, Monae 2 years old and lastly Kaelyn 1 year old. No more kids for us. Even August said it himself, no more kids. I am going to show you how I prepare the kids for the day since it a school night for everyone.

The twins has their own bathroom so they can wash themselves up. They won't be needing my help anymore. The rest of the kids, I have to wash. August normally help me with the boys but since he been working late, I have the older girls to help out. By the time I wash Monae & Kaelyn, the boys are knocked out in their bed. Kaelyn normally is knocked out when it's her time for bath so I had to switch Kaelyn first then Monae.

Monae is usually the only kid still up while everyone else is sleep. I tends to play with her until she is tired. Sometimes, she wait until her father comes home and then she falls asleep. I find that truly beautiful that she loves her father more than anything in the world. Now I can I finally get some sleep since it 11:15, I take my shower then off to bed I go. I gotta get up at 6:15 am to get everything ready.

Once I hear my alarm, I go straight to the bathroom and freshen up. Head down stairs to cook breakfast. Have August watch the food while I wake everyone up, minus the younger girls. "Brielle, wake up, time for school." I said slowly shaking her.

"Nooo mommy, 5 more minutes." she moaned. I laughed at her. "I'll give you 10 more minutes then I am throwing cold water on you" I said as I went over to Brianna. "Bria-" 

"Uh huh, I am up already. You not throwing no water on me" she said as she grabbed her towel and went for the bathroom. I looked over to Brie and seen that she got up as well. My job here is done. Now it's time for them boys. "August. Come on, time for school." I said.. "Carter, wakey wakey. I said shaking their bunk bed.

"Do we have to go to school today mom?" A3 asked. "Yes dear, do you want to be dumb?" I said only for him to shoot right up. "No, I don't" he said climbing down his bed. "Good boy!" I said.

"Carter. Come on" I said pulling onto him. He would not let go the bed. "Carter it is 7:00, and you will not have no free time today. I will call your teacher and have her sit you down." I said. He finally let the bed go. He got up and walked into the bathroom. By the time I got done with the boys, the girls hd their sisters in their high seat ready for breakfast.

"Eat up! Bus pulls up in 15 minutes." I couldn't believe how grown the kids became. The twins are in the 3rd grade while A3 is in 2nd grade and lastly Carter is in kindergarten. August and I are only 24 years old and we can manage this. 

HONK HONK

"Bus here." I said giving each kid their lunch and a kiss. "Have a good day!" I yelled out. Next up, August was leaving, handed him his lunch and out the door he goes. "Bye baby!" he said. "Bye love. You later on tonight." I said giving my man a long passionate kiss.

Now it was Monae, Kaelyn and I left in the house and I didn't have to be at work until 10:30. So that gave me a couple hours to straighten the house and get the girls ready to go over my mother's house since she owns a day care.

I do hair until 5:15 then go and pick the kids up from school. The kids stay after school every other day to get tutor. Especially the twins, they wanna make sure they are top of their class. I think that awesome of them to do that. Once I got them, I head over to my mothers and grabbed the girls then head home. 

By now it is 7:00 and everyone is in the dining room doing their homework while Carter watches Monae & Kaelyn. August should either be home around 8:15 or 10:45. To my surprise, he was home at 8:15. We all have dinner together tonight as a family and then we start the routine all over!  

This is how I manage 6 kids at the age of 24 with my own business and a husband.!
