"Hey Shu," Shu looked down at his bluenette boyfriend, "You gonna eat that?"
"Nah! You can have it," Shu said handing Valt the ice cream come which he began to gobble down like a furious animal. Shu smiled not noticing the way Free watched them, he looked down at his own ice cream, his eyes softening a bit.
"Something up Free?" Silas asked walking to his side, "Nothing, just thinking of...you know."
"Free, you know you can't date Shu, he's already with Valt," Free looked away, "I know but...I wanna be with him."
"Free-"
"I know," Free sighed, "I just wish so much..." Silas sighed, "Hey, how about we have a little battle to take your mind off it?" Free looked at Silas and smiled, "Sure."

The next day, as Free trained in the forest someone approached. Free didn't waste time sensing it, he raised a brow, Shu walked into the forest hands in pockets and eyes down.
"Something wrong? I thought you preferred a more civilized environment," Valt collapsed on the couch, "Me too...but I guess I'll have to get used to this now," Free tilted his head, "As how?"
"Me and Valt...we broke up," Free's slight confusion changed to surprise then a pinch of happiness for himself then sadness for Shu all mixed into one, "Shu..."
"Don't worry, I'm not actually that sad," Free tilted his head once more, "To be honest...I didn't really like Valt that much..."
"But if you didn't like Valt...then who did you like?" Shu looked at Free with a smile, "You."
Before Free could utter another word a hand was behind his head and pulled him in for a kiss surprising the blond. Slowly, he melted into the kiss and putting his hands on Shu's shoulders and Shu's arms found their way around his waist. They remained in that position, neither wanting to let go until finally. Out of breath they let go. It took them several heavy breaths to regain their composure, Shu smiled pressing Free's forehead against his.
"Now this actually feels right," There was hesitance but Free smiled returning the soft touch, "It does."
