A school bus pulled up at a big house. There was a lake nearby and a swing hung from the big tree in the garden. You got off the bus and walked over to the letterbox checking to see if there was any mail.

You walked up to your front porch, your phone in one hand and the house keys in the other. A key chain of My Bloody Valentine was attached to it and it dangled with a few clinks as you walked up to the front door.

"So, you're sure I can stay over? Cause my parents are at my aunt's house in Florida for two days. She was worried sick when she saw my face in the news, so they had to visit her," you sighed.

Before you moved to Woodsboro you lived with your aunt and uncle. They had a big house and a farm so there was enough space for both your parents and you to live with them. You were always close with your aunt but that changed after your uncle had a heart attack in 1990.

After that tragic event, your aunt wasn't the same anymore. She wanted to be left alone so 2 years later you moved to Woodsboro. She called every day for a year, but the day you started Sophomore year you would consider yourself lucky if you got a Christmas card from her. She shut everybody out, so it surprised you when she called yesterday morning and demanded your parents visit her immediately.

"No prob, I'll pick you up after practice, okay? I'll be there by 7:00 I promise." Tatum's voice took you back to reality and you hadn't even realized that you had unlocked your door and walked into the living room. You shook your head and threw your backpack onto the couch.

"Thanks Tatum. Bye," you hung up and threw your phone next to your backpack. You sighed and decided to start packing your things for the sleepover, so you went into your room. You pulled a red bag out of your white closet and started to pack some things. PJs, shirts, sweaters, pants, underwear, toothbrush, toothpaste, and some other essentials. You zipped up the zipper and put the backpack onto your bed. Heading back downstairs you yawned and decided to watch some TV.

"The bodies of 17-year-old Casey Becker and her 18-year-old boyfriend Steve Orth were discovered late Saturday night by her parents. Her friend (Y/N)-"

"The town is in shock, and nobody can quite believe what has happened here although this is not the first time this small community of Woodsboro has endured such tragedy. Only a year ago Maureen Prescott, wife and mother was found raped and murdered not far from this peaceful town square-"

You turned off the TV and laid down on the soft cushions of the living room couch when the ringing of the phone pulled you back to reality. You sighed and picked up the calling device.

"Practice ran late, I am on my way, okay? Don't worry Casey and Steve didn't bite it till way after ten," she muttered but quickly realized her mistake as she mumbled a few silent 'sorry's'.

"Anyways I'm going to swing by the video store. I was thinking 'Tom Cruise' in 'All the Right Moves'. If you pause it just right, you can see his penis," she giggled, and you shook your head amusedly.
