"It's exactly how I pictured it." Teen said, while everyone was admiring the forest.
"Yes." Agatha replied bluntly. Maeve was behind everyone, still skeptical about this whole thing. "It suits you"
Maeve ignored everyone, walking past the slow witches infront of her, she just wanted to finish the road get out of there with the one thing she wants.
"You know what this is!" Sharon started making everyone spin to look at her. "This is a kidnapping." Maeve rolled her eyes blocking out the rest of Sharon's rant, kicking the leaves underneath her feet, waiting for everyone to catch up.
"Are we going to ignore the fact that something chased us down here?" Jen asked.
"Chased Agatha." Alice added looking at Agatha whose eyes were glued to Maeve.
Sharon's rant continued.
"Well whatever chased Agatha down here, it's our problem now." Lilia admitted
"Is that because covens share blessings and burdens alike?" Teen asked, Maeve held back her laugh.
"Someone really needs to call this kids parents." Jen replied.
"Don't be mean Jen. He's a kid" Maeve said, still ahead of everyone.
"It's fine, I'm 100% positive they're asleep right now" he replied smiling at the thought of his parents.
Maeve and Agatha glance at eachother. "Is this like perpetual night? As in the vibe?" He asked the whole coven.
Sharon started ranting again, making Maeve roll her eyes staring at Agatha knowing this woman should not be on the road.
Agatha and Maeve walked infront of the group, "why did you bring her?" Maeve asked knowing the group couldn't hear them.
"She's a green witch. And we needed one."Agatha stated which made Maeve roll her eyes again. "Can you stop rolling your eyes. You're like a child"
"Don't start Agatha."
"Why did you come? You said you didn't want to."
"I needed to see a friend. I was lonely. And that teenager, he reminds me of-"
"Reminds you of who?" Teen snuck up behind the women.
"No one teen."
"Shut up pet" Agatha and Maeve shouted at the same time. The teen looked offended as he backed up a bit falling behind to the rest of the coven.

"We don't even know what we're up against!" Jens words made Maeve stop. Agatha suddenly stopped copying Maeve.
The rest copy them. Looking between the two women who obviously have a scared look on their face.
"Tame your fears" Lilia started. "That's what we're up against."everyone looked at Lilia, all but one. Maeve.
"I really shouldn't have came here" she whispered to herself
"Our worst nightmares" Lilia continued.
"But in what form?" Jen asked.
"Trials." Alice replied, gaining everyone's interest, all except Maeve who was still turned away from the group."Atleast that's what the song says." Everyone kept their eyes on Alice. "What are they like?" She asked Agatha causing everyone to turn to her. Even Maeve turned around to look at Agatha.
"The road will test us and our knowledge of the craft. One trail for each skill." She stated.
"How do we pass them without any power?" Jen asked.
"Well there's always analog magic." Teen said.
Maeve started walking away from the group, obviously not interested.
"Where's she off to?"
"The first trial." Agatha admitted watching Maeve walk away.
"Are you coming or not!" Maeve looked behind her, shouting at the group, it was obvious that she was scared, to Agatha atleast.
Everyone sped walk to try to catch up.
"So who are you?" Jen asked teen, who started speaking but was covered by a sigil. This made Maeve stop in her tracks, along with everyone else, except Agatha.
"Say again." Maeve demanded.
He tried again, only for the Witches to hear mumbling.Maeve looked down. Shocked
"Well I'll be, Someone's put a sigil on that boy!" Lilia shouted.
"A what?" Teen asked. Everyone looked at Agatha.
"Don't look at me. I didn't put that clumsy glamour on him." She looked offended. "Sigils are beneath me."
"A sigil, is a spell?" Teen asked.
"A sigil is a redaction spell, that hides something." Maeve started "in this case, you, from witch folk."
"Looks like Agatha brought a sparkly little mystery with her" Jen added.
"She was probably trying to keep him all to himself" Lilia said. This made Maeve look at Agatha thinking maybe it's her son.
"Why would someone wanna hide me?" Teen asked Agatha.
Agatha pushed the teen behind her. "Look, I have no idea what's under that sigil. He could be something special or he could be a pest that a cranky witch stashed under a rock." She whispered so teen couldn't hear her. "We can crack him open later. The real value lies at the end of the road." She pointed ahead of the witches. Pointing to the road that only goes forwards. "So if you want to unbind" she pointed to Jen. "And you want to reverse your fortune." She walked up to Lilia. "And you wanna find out what happened to mommy." She pointed at Alice before walking up to Maeve whispering in her ear "you want to find out what happened to Milo." Maeve tensed up.
"Don't. I know what happened to him, that is not why I came here" she started to shout. Tears threatened her eyes. It wasn't till Lilia pulled Agatha away from Maeve that she left. She started walking ahead.

"You don't get to bring up someone's son. Not like that." Lilia threatened Agatha her grip tightening on Agatha's arm.
"I get it." Agatha hissed. As they all started to catch up. Alice jogging ahead.
The rest of the group must've realized Mrs hart was missing as they started to try to find her.
Alice and Maeve stayed ahead. Waiting for the rest.
"Don't let her get to you. I don't know what happened  to your son, I only know the rumors that spread. So I am not judging, just don't let her make it seem like your fault."
"It was." Maeve stated before walking back towards the group to see why they are taking so long. Only to find Mrs hart covered in mud.
"What happened." Maeve asked.
"She went off the road. Rule number one. Do not step off the road." Agatha stated the obvious, Maeve rolling her eyes at her.
"I stray not from the path" teen recited the song.
"Yes thank you teen" Agatha said sarcastically. "So if we just follow the instructions of the Ballard, we'll be safe as kittens."
Maeve and Jen turned around as Mrs Hart started ranting again.
"Hey guys"
"Look" Jen added. Walking towards the beautiful house infront of her.
They all stared in shock.
"Was that there before?" Alice asked.
Agatha shook her shoulders. "We should stop asking that question." She joked taking a deep breath in and they all walked forwards. Soon they reached the house.

"Now this is a house" Jen exclaimed.
"Right off your vision board" Agatha complained.
"Maybe this is the end" Sharon added, looking a bit scared.
"That would be such a bummer" Teen said, everyone turning to face him. "Sorry" he added embarrassed.
They all walked up to the front door, Lilia touching the front door.
"The phases of the moon" she said, her hand dragging across the carved door.
"It's full" teen stated
"The water phase" Maeve interrupted Teen.
"So what do we do?" Teen asked Agatha. Who only gave him a smirk.
"Well we don't want to surprise anyone!" Sharon exclaimed ringing the doorbell.
"Don't we!" Agatha added, her face covered with a smile. She walked to the door, opening it. Maeve rolled her eyes.
