(I use Adelaide Kane for FC but you can imagine her however you want to)——
The detective sat at her desk, clicking through all the useless emails that her best friend sends her, she froze at a feeling of eyes on her, knowing she was alone in her office she reached for her gun in her holster.
"No need for that, sweetheart." A familiar voice made her tense up. Slowly spinning around she put on a fake smile.
"Agatha."
"Darling."
"What do you want." She tilted her head as she looked behind the woman, to see a teenage boy. She tilted her head even more, her mind wandering through all the possibilities.
"He's just my pet. Don't mind him" Agatha stated, clicking her fingers infront of the detective.
"How did you get out of the spell." She asked blankly, her hand still hovering over her gun.
"No time for that now darling. We are walking the road. We need a protections witch."
The words made her tense up. "Agatha we both know the witches road doesn't-"
"Are you coming or not!" Agatha interrupted the witch.
"No. Not my thing. I've got everything I want in life."
"Everything?" Agatha teased.
"Don't." She threatened.
"Okay well, your choice am I right!" She chuckled lightly tapping the boys chest. "Come pet" she walks away. The boy however doesn't move. Making the girl confused. "If you change your mind." He hands her a piece of paper and turns to catch up with Agatha.
The woman stares at the piece of paper, the words westview sending shivers down her spine.
This made her curious. She could've sworn the road was never real, it was all a trick but... but now Agatha seems so sure she's going to walk it. She was curious and she wanted to know more. She finished her work, and grabbed her keys for her car, sitting behind the wheel, her hand outstretched towards the wheel, her head slowly bopping forwards and backwards. The strange feeling and power attracting her back to westview, without another thought she made her way to the familiar town.
She passed all the familiar buildings, her gaze landing upon the house she used to own, she parked outside of it. She stood infront of the house, until she realized it was getting a bit dark so she made her way to the house, Agatha was in.
She arrived, a woman also approached the house alongside her. "I'm Alice. Alice Wu-Gulliver, you're Maeve Harlow, I know. I used to work in your department, WRPD."
"Oh. Yeah I remember you. You're a witch too?"
"Yeah. Protection witch. I'm assuming you're a protection witch too?"
"Yeah.. but to walk the road you only need one protection witches."
"I guess she wanted more knowledge?"
They approached the door.. no not the door as there seemed to be no door, the approached the living room?
"This is never going to work." Maeve mentioned before stepping inside.
"Your front door is missing." Alice walked behind Maeve.
"Alice, how did you..!" The teenager exclaimed, obviously a bit too excited.
"I'm an ex cop" Alice cut off his rambling.
"That's going to be an answer to a lot of your questions."
"Well, gangs all here. let's hit the road!" Agatha glanced at Maeve a little longer than she was expecting.
"Wait where's our green witch?" Jen exclaimed making everyone hum in response.
Maeve looked around seeing everyone staring at her.
"Oh no I'm not a-"
"She's a protections witch. Don't mind her" Agatha interrupted "do we really need a green witch? We have an extra protection witch!"
"Of course we do!" Lilia argued.
"Says who!" Agatha smirked.
"The Ballard!" Jen replied giving a dirty look to Agatha.
Maeve tensed up, her gaze settling on Agatha before looking at the floor. Agatha noticed, her face dropping.
"Well there was one more name on the coven list. Wasn't there?" The teen asked, looking directly at Agatha.
"Lilia's handwriting is so bad I..."
"What was the last name?" The teen boy asked again this time looking at Lilia.
"It wasn't a name. It was heart. A black heart" she replied. Maeve stood up, the hair on the back of her neck standing up.
"You know I should.. probably go. This was a mistake." Maeve started to leave when Agatha interrupted her.
"Oh!" Her face suddenly lit up. "I know who it is! let me just go get her! Be back in the flash." Agatha stated before leaving the house, making everyone look at a pretty scared looking Maeve. They all stood in silence waiting for Agatha's return. Once she returned with a woman everyone was skeptical about, Maeve knowing this woman was certainly not a witch. They all headed to Agatha's basement to conjure the road.
Agatha and teen stood away from the group.
"Why don't you head upstairs and let us do our thing okay?" Maeve overheard their conversation, her eyebrow lifting up in curiosity.
Once the teen left Agatha gaze landed on Maeve.
"Oh don't look at me like that. He's not even part of our coven" Maeve looked away, knowing this was not going to work."So who's going high?" Jen asked,
"Oh no thank you I don't take drugs" Sharon added, making everyone look at her.
Maeve didn't take her eyes off Agatha. Agatha didn't take her eyes off Maeve. They stared at eachother until Agatha started the Ballard."Seekest thou the road to all that's foul and fair" Agatha sang, everyone else joining in.
"Follow me my friend to glory at the end"
The witches finished singing.
"Some feedback for you. It did not take this long last time." Agatha sounded annoyed, Maeve narrowed her eyes at Agatha.
The other witches all argued, not even realizing the looks between Maeve and Agatha.
"Why did you do this?" Maeve asked, knowing the others couldn't hear her.
"You know wh-" Agatha replied but decided to stop, seeing as there was only one reason she's here. "Are there any real witches in the house?" She smirked, looking at everyone. "Because all I see are has-beens and have-beens!"
"You recruited us!" Lilia stated
"And I was a fool. You can forget the witches road!" Agatha shouted, "I'd die before letting you befoul it with your noxious mediocrity. What a team of rejects." Agatha looked between them all, pointing one by one "coward." Lilia. "Fraud." Jen. "Disappointment." Alice.
"And the one and only 'I killed a bunch of people but I promise I wasn't trying to'" she mocked and pointed at Maeve, who was headed towards the stairs when she suddenly froze at her words. Her hands casting fire, luckily Lilia was quick to stop her.
"This is a power grab! She wants us to attack her."
Everyone looks at her confused. Any power they wanted to throw at Agatha stopped."You brought us here hoping our proximity, coupled with your cruelty, would get you a spark you could steal. You had no intention of bringing us to the road!" Lilia shouted.
"It's not my fault only a true coven can open the door" Agatha smirked, looking at Maeve who was still frozen by Agatha's words. Agatha felt.. regret.
"Oh I don't have time for this, JUST BLAST ME YOU BITCHES!" Agatha shouted, making everyone look at her, wanting to blast her but were stopped by.
"What is that?" Sharon asked.
"Was that there before?"
"No"
"Open it." Lilia threatened Agatha who was suprised. She looked at Maeve, Maeve looked shocked. Agatha opened the door.
"Agatha!!! Agatha!!" Teen panicked running towards the blue light. "Is this it? Is this the road? Because we should really, really go, like, right now!" Teen rushed down the stairs.
Disembodied Screams were heard. Making everyone shift towards the creepy blue staircase.
"No thank you!" Lilia and Jen ran down the stairs. Followed by Alice and Sharon.
"What does your gut tell you?"Agatha asked Maeve.
Before she could answer, more disembodied screams were heard, followed by a few figures dressed in all black, Maeve and Agatha both recognised these figures. Agatha grabbed Maeve's arm shoving her down towards the stairs.
Agatha followed after Maeve, closing the door.
