8:43 a.m. Thailand. August. Friday. Sangdet

Opening day.

Everything will be fine. I will manage, I can. I hope he doesn't come today and ruin everything for me. Sangdet thought , sitting in her office . She has been here since six in the morning, although the official opening is only scheduled for 12:00. The kitchen already resembled a scene from the show "Chef America" . Everyone worked — from a locksmith to a chef. The final touches and preparation were the most nerve-wracking moments.

Sangdet left the office and went to the reception.

- How many rooms are occupied today? - she asked sternly, which made the girl stutter and became speechless.

- No...no available numbers for today, ma'am. - the girl said with a trembling voice.

- Get a hold of yourself. I know it's a nervous day, but we've been preparing for it. You will manage. - said Sangdet and headed to the restaurant.

The restaurant, located on the third floor of the hotel, occupied almost the entire space. It combined refined modern style with touches of tradition, which unobtrusively fit into the interior. A large and spacious hall occupied more than half of the floor. Open windows allowed to enjoy the view of the city and the sea. The walls were decorated with exquisite fabrics, patterns and decorative elements. Wooden panels with carvings added a traditional flavor to the interior. Chairs and tables made of natural wood were comfortable and elegant. Large round tables were ideal for large companies, while small tables near the windows were ideal for couples. The bar next to the restaurant provided visitors with round-the-clock recreation. There was a cozy atmosphere where you could relax after a busy day or spend time with friends. The bar had an impressive selection of drinks for every taste: from classic cocktails to exotic local drinks. Bright colors, soft sofas and calm lighting created an atmosphere of peace and comfort. These two halls harmoniously complemented each other, creating a complete image of a restaurant and bar, which allowed to enjoy high-quality dishes and drinks in a comfortable environment.

Sangdet walked through the restaurant, checking every table and every flower that was on them. Everything had to be perfect. She walked on and opened the kitchen door.

The picture that appeared in front of her was mesmerizing, Ilya, like a master conductor, managed the kitchen with precision and elegance. His hands skillfully manipulated pots, pans and knives, creating a symphony of aromas and flavors. Dancing on the fire on the stove, the steam from under the lid exploded in ecstasy, revealing their secrets. The aroma is woven into one harmonious melody: fresh basil, fried garlic, mysterious cardamom and spices. Ilya felt every chord, every nuance, as if he poured his soul into this culinary symphony. Sangdet looked at him and did not understand.

How did he even get here? Who are you, Ilya? - she thought. His confidence and composure was breathtaking. She felt that this kitchen is not just a place for cooking, but a real temple of taste and art.

I don't know who you are, but thank you.

Ilya saw her and handed the pan to another cook.

- Miss Changkooksa, what are you doing here?

- I wanted to check if everything was okay? Do we have enough? - she asked calmly

- I'm doing great. - he pointed with his hand to the kitchen where everyone was doing something and concentrated. - I have everything under complete control, don't worry, I won't let you down. Ilya smiled.

- I hope for you. - said Sangdet and left the kitchen.

- Gotta call Jim, it's been a while, maybe she's found something!" - she thought
