Dasha, pushing Hope away from Sangdet, quickly apologized and led her to the elevator. Hope was still in a state of shock from the sudden encounter, but Dasha was focused on one thing: getting her back to the room as quickly as possible. Her heart was beating fast, and thoughts were racing through her head.
- What will I do? How could I face her again? I have to go. Urgently!
Back in her room, Hope quickly fell asleep, probably from the effects of alcohol and mental shock. Dasha covered her with a blanket and sat on the edge of the bed, breathing heavily. On the way to the room, she tried to ask Dasha some questions, but it came out quite incoherently.
- Why now? Why now, when I wanted to return here for the first time in my life? Why is she not in Bangkok?
Dasha got up and started walking around the room, trying to calm down. But the thought of Sangdet troubled her.
- I'm trying to protect my family, I'm trying to protect you!
She was talking to herself and tears began to form in her eyes. Dasha sat down on the floor, pressed her knees to her chest and cried. The pain and fear that has been building up for years is finally coming out.
- Sangdet, you were the most precious to me, I did everything not to hurt you. But I didn't think it would be so difficult. I didn't think running away would be such a difficult decision. She is still the same as before, but her eyes... they are like that..... What happened to her all these years?
Her tears were mixed with anger and frustration. A wave of emotions rushed through her, trying to destroy everything in its path. Now it was necessary to find a way to release these feelings, they would destroy her from the inside.
- I did it for both of us and now I have to live with it!
When the waves of emotions subsided a little, Dasha got up from the floor, wiped her tears, and after checking the peacefully sleeping Hope in the room, quickly left the room.
- I need air....Exactly! Olya was telling something about the garden.
Dasha headed for the elevator. She wanted to escape from her thoughts, but she understood that it was impossible. The big glass door led to the fairy world of the Thai night mixed with the aroma of flowers and freshness. In the fresh air, her mind calmed down a bit. Taking a deep breath, Dasha sat down on a bench by the pool, feeling waves of calmness and anxiety rolling in, alternating.
- I have to find a way to deal with it. I must find the strength to leave Thailand now. If I stay here any longer, I can't stand it. She pretended that she just doesn't know me. Why? she whispered.
The water in the pool reflected the moonlight, creating the illusion of peace she desperately needed.
Suddenly, a familiar voice was heard in the distance, coming from the edge of the garden:
- I hate you for leaving me without any explanation.
Dasha felt cold fear once again penetrate her body. She slowly, like a zombie, got up from the bench and went to the sound. The heart was beating faster, as if sensing the approach of the inevitable.
Sangdet stood by the railing, her face clouded with anger and pain.
- And you never learned how to scream properly. Dasha whispered quietly, approaching Sangdet from behind.
Sangdet turned sharply, her eyes flashed even more, Dasha saw anger, pain and disappointment in her eyes.
- Sangde... - Dasha started to speak, but her voice broke. She didn't know what to say or how to explain.
