Scarlett's POV:

!Mention of SA!

I woke up, the events of Friday night still playing in my head. I don't even know why I was standing so close to her. She looked so gorgeous, her shiny dirty blonde hair flowing in the wind outside, how her makeup looked beautiful, even though she looked just as gorgeous in school with less makeup. From the first day, there was something about Miss Fields that intrigued me. Something that made me want to know more about her. When I read her paper about her dad, I felt terrible. I shouldn't have said what I said earlier that day, but the attitude that girl has is something on another level. I mean I was warned on the Friday before school started by other teachers. Everyone said that she is trouble and that she is a bitch. For my colleagues to be calling an 18-year-old girl a bitch, that had to be a lot of trouble. What I noticed that day was the look one of the Biology teachers had on her face. Ms. Bales, her name was I think.

For me, I don't think Miss Fields is a bitch. I think she is misunderstood or people don't know what's behind the surface. I figured that out the moment I read the paper about her father, who passed 6 years ago. The essay was written beautifully, it was so good that I felt my eyes welling just reading it. I'm not necessarily the bitch I make myself out to be, but I know my place and I stand my ground. Plus, it's good that the students listen and learn something.

Once I got ready, I made my way to my car. For half of my second period, there would be an assembly about SA and going into some depth of it. It's a serious topic, and it is a tragedy that some people have to go through that. I start driving, making my way to school, but when I almost reach the exit of my neighborhood, I see one of the nicest Audi's I've ever seen. It's a Matte black RS5, and I can't help but stare at it. I drive a grey Lamborghini Temerario, and I could never complain. I love this car more than anything and I could say anyone in my life. Audi's just always had a spot in my heart. What surprised me though, was the person who left her house to get to the car and the boy who then got into the passenger seat.

It was her, and that one boy she's always with. I guess they're neighbors. I quickly drove forward and towards the school, not wanting to be seen. The questions wouldn't leave my mind though. Was she his girlfriend? Are they dating? Halfway through the questions, I realized I was thinking about my student, and that could NOT happen. When I parked in the teachers' parking lot, I spotted Ms. Bales, Sarah's "second mom".

"Good morning Ms. Bales," I break the silence, falling into step beside her.

"Good morning Ms. Fox!" She responded, chipper as ever.

"I have a question," I admitted to her.

"Shoot." Ms. Bales said walking to her classroom.

"How did you and Sarah get so close?" I asked in a stern tone, trying not to break my facade. I genuinely wanted to know how Ms. Bales was able to break through Sarah, not that I wanted to.

She sat down and unpacked her things, she put two Celsius energy drinks in her mini fridge and started laughing. "Well, Sarah had a slight accident in my classroom freshman year, it wasn't a good accident actually, but it brought us closer in a way. Anyways, why?"

I nodded, wondering what the accident could've been. "No reason, what was the accident?"

As she was about to respond, to probably tell me it wasn't her story to tell, a familiar shadow entered the room.

"I passed out, high on the greens." She admitted walking in smiling, and my eyes widened. I was genuinely shocked at the sentence that just escaped her mouth.
