"Hello, Perseus. I believe we need to talk," Dumbledore said with a small smile.
Percy only nodded looking at the old man as he seemed to lead him away from the dining hall, as if he knew what he was thinking Dumbledore said. "I will try to extend breakfast so you can eat."
"Thank you, professor," Percy said as they reached what looked like an ugly stone gargoyle. There was nowhere to go, he looked at the professor confused, only to hear him speak.
"Skittles." Now Percy was even more confused only for the gargoyle to suddenly spring to life and hop aside as the wall behind him split in two. Percy was amazed. Behind the wall was a spiral staircase that was moving smoothly upward, like an escalator. Percy took a step onto the platform with Professor Dumbledore as he heard the wall thud as it closed behind them. They rose upward in circles, higher and higher, until at last, slightly dizzy, Percy saw a gleaming oak door ahead, with a brass knocker in the shape of a griffin.
As Dumbledore pushed the door open he quietly followed behind the man. He was enamored by the room in front of him he had never seen anything like it before
It was a large and beautiful circular room, full of funny little noises. A number of curious silver instruments stood on spindle-legged tables, whirring and emitting little puffs of smoke. The walls were covered with portraits of old headmasters and headmistresses. There was also an enormous, claw-footed desk, and, sitting on a shelf behind it, a shabby, old hat the sorting hat, and next to the desk was a curious bird one Percy had never seen before.
"Why don't you take a seat Perseus." Dumbledore said as he fed the pet the bird in front of him. Percy sat down in front of the desk trying to think of what to say for the obvious questions that were about to be asked of him.
As Dumbledore sat across from him he seemed tired. "Well, Perseus let me start with the most obvious question." Percy gulped. "What was that sword you carried?"
Percy hoped he didn't see it when he was caring for Harry. "I found it there professor, I just picked it up and used it on Professor Quirrell."
"You don't have to lie Perseus." Dumbledore said with a knowing smile. "I know there were no weapons in the chamber and it seemed the sword disappeared after I checked on Harry."
Percy sighed and took out his pen and put it on the desk in front of Dumbledore. Dumbledore picked up the weapon giving it a look over before saying. "I'm not the most familiar with muggle tools can you show how this became your weapon?"
Percy picked it up and uncapped the pen in front of the professor causing the man's eyes to widen as he looked at the weapon in front of him, but it wasn't just a look of shock it was one of recognition.
"Celestial Bronze." Percy gasped at the man's words. "Interested as to how I know Mister Potter?"
Percy could only nod at the man's words not knowing what to say. "I had a friend a long time ago who was a part of your world and this one. He was one of my closest friends a son of Hecate Gellert Grindelwald. He told me of your world and the influence it had on the creation of this one but his views became corrupted in his search for a perfect world."
Hecate, Percy recognized the name but he didn't know where from.
"Professor, are there any others who are like me?"
"I don't believe so Perseus I only have a small foot in the divine world that you are a part of."
"You said your friend told you about the world I'm stuck in, did he tell you how this sword works?" Percy asked as he capped the sword back into its pen form.
