If we don't stabilize soon, we could end up anywhere—or nowhere," he warned, his voice steady despite the chaos surrounding them.

"Keep pushing, Jakson. We need to find a way to communicate with whatever civilization might be out there," the Commander replied, his eyes scanning the swirling mass of stars, searching for any sign of life. The thought of encountering alien races both thrilled and terrified him; the unknown was a double-edged sword.
