ALLY

I'm woken up by the dreadful sound of the alarm. Another day to act tough and ignore my mum. Still can't believe she thinks I'm going through the teenage phase. I'm just like that, socially awkward.

I tiptoed to the kitchen trying not to wake her up but she's already having her morning coffee to start her day.

I whispered a greeting. She heard it because she's used to me being quiet.

"How was your night, Ally?"  my mum said, hoping to start a conversation but I was in no mood as usual.

We were interrupted by a bang on the staircase, probably one of my mum's numerous men making their way downstairs after a night of alcohol and you know what .

This guy had no shirt. Like bro, this is not Ur house. But he had a pretty  face. He had an amazing body and  a gorgeous blue eyes . I'm not exaggerating this guy is the definition of hot like fire.

I made my breakfast not acknowledging his presence and he did the say. He gave my mum a really disturbing kiss and I tried not to act annoyed which I am.

He walked towards the kitchen and winked at me but for some reason I reciprocated it with a smile.

My mum had numerous guys who were a bit older than me and really young to sleep with her. I guess she did that to relieve the teenage life she missed out on because she had me. But I wouldn't blame myself,I never asked her to do the deed with my dad.

My parents tried to build a family but my mum wanted more, they got divorced and my dad moved to the farm. At least he was doing what he loved.

I worked at the cafe which wasn't really hard cus all I had to do was take orders and give it to the customers. I mostly made small talks which them which helped build my confidence. The only problem at the cafe was wrongly pronouncing someone's name which in return I would get a long ass lecture about the history behind their name. Totally fun!!

" A hot chocolate and a cookie" the voice said.

I looked up from the counter and it was one of my mum's many hookups. The guy with the pretty face.

He walked to a seat near the counter. I didn't think he recognised me because I didn't get a "hi" or an "hey".

I took his order to him but he was busy talking to a real estate agent.
At least a smile would have been nice. I've encountered rude customers but I don't know why this was different.
