How It Started

JESSIE

I struggled to sleep because it didn't feel right living with a stranger we barely know. I'm sure my mum is probably sleeping with her arms stretched and legs opened wide. She has no sense of danger. What if I'm being paranoid and he's just a normal guy looking for a house.

This unanswered questions made me go downstairs to watch a movie to make me tired.  The living room wasn't dark. Jessie was comfortably sitting on a couch and he noticed my presence.

He winked at me and motioned me to sit down
"Can't sleep either?" I nodded "I guess am not the only one uncomfortable living with strangers" he laughed and I smiled

This was my opportunity to get to know if he's a threat or not.
" So what's your story?'' I asked
"Straight to the hard questions huh?" he smiled
He seemed like kind of guy to joke around a lot. Jesse moved from the couch and sat right next to me.

My stupid heart was beating so fast,I bet he could hear it.  Those lips

Ally step out of it. He's one of your mother's play things. Jessie was so close to my face. Those lips. Our eyes met and it was magical.
Those blue eyes would be the end of me. I could stare into them forever but this moment was rudely interrupted by my mother when she turned the light on.

"What's going on?"she said suspecting nothing
" I was grabbing a glass of water and bumped into Jesse so ...."

My mum stared at me for a second clearly believing me. Jessie stood there will no expression. It was really hard to believe him
" I'm happy you two are getting to know each other but you have school tomorrow " my mum said and kissed me good night

I gave Jessie a last long but I guess he was admiring my mother.
Gross

I went to my room with my heart still beating. What would have happened if my mum didn't come. Would Jessie have kissed me and would I have allowed it.

But he was sleeping with my mother. Things would have been so weird between us. I tried to calm myself down. I barely slept a wink thinking about Jessie's blue eyes, his pretty face and his amazing body

The next day,I was still in bed when my mum barged into my room
"Mumm" I yelled " Do you want to break the door and can't you knock? What if I was naked"

She ignored my questions" Hurry up, Jessie will drop you off to school"

"Why can't you?" I asked,it was evident that I didn't want to be alone with Jessie

"I thought you guys were bonding last night" she asked curiously

"But it doesn't mean that I'm not comfortable being around him" I said trying to make my mum reason with me but she wasn't having it

"Young lady, Jessie is dropping you to school and that's it. Hurry he has to go to the gym" she ended and left my room

That body needed exercise to look amazing. I dragged myself out of bed. I went through text messages and my best friend,Lisa asked if my mum could drop her off to school.

Seriously!! I have to ask Jessie. But Lisa coming along means we wouldn't be alone. Thank you universe

I went downstairs. Jessie was making pancakes
"Good morning. I made breakfast" he said casually.
Did he forget about what almost happened last night.

I mumbled a good morning and a thank you.
"Jessie,I was wondering if you could pick a friend of mine from her house. She needs a ride to school " I asked hoping to receiving a yes

"Why not?" he said

That was easy. I guess he was trying to get into my good books. Maybe he wasn't bad...... just maybe

We ate our breakfast in silence. I caught him stealing a few glances at me. Mostly,I would be angry if a guy stared at me but I liked the attention.

I texted Lisa saying we would be there very soon. Jessie turned on the radio. Guess he didn't want to engage in small talk.

Is he acting weird cause we almost kissed? Just what I needed
Jessie followed the map and we got to Lisa's house.
